So; how does the reset/juggle system in this game work? Once my friend was Raph and he anti-aired me with standing fierce, then did Power Drill and it hit me on my way down. (I was in the corner btw.) Can certain specials combo after normal anti-airs or something?

Ok so regarding the Leo vs Don match upā¦ please tell me if Iām on the right track here.
They both seem to have pretty even fireballs, and their jumping fierce punches seem to be pretty even. But Leoās Roto Cutter seems to give him better fireball trap options than Donā¦ so at a distance things seem to be in Leoās favour.
I find Don to be pretty beastly when heās got you in the corner. Standing fierce is multi-hit, which means it builds meter really fast. Plus his mash punch move and hurricane kick thing also build meter quickly, as well as do great block damage. I often find myself wake up back dashing to avoid thisā¦ should I? It often puts me in a position where I end up getting thrown.
Leo is (of course) still at advantage with his opponent in the corner, but not as much as Don is, it seems. Shining Cutter into throw/combo is pretty good as well as low/standing light kicks as with any turtle.
A lot of their pokes are very similarā¦ Um, Don can do fake slide to throw, which I actually ate once. (In the last video at the bottom of this post.)
Combo wise, things seem to be fairly even too. My friend who plays Don never uses cross ups but I assume that jump down + jab or jump roundhouse will combo into low jab and mash punch. Leoās down + jab or jump roundhouse into low jab then Roto Cutter is really goodā¦ I use it a lot! Donās jump in fierce, mash punch does mad damage though.
So what else is there to add? Any info is appreciated on either side of this match up.

Played this game like hell back in the day. Thanks for the edits in the U.S version by the way, Iāll have to remember them if I ever decide to update my site again.
Question, about a month ago, Dark Hogosha and I played this game for kicks and we both come to the conclusion that Aska is top tier 'cause we discover her SRK goes through anything. The next day at a tourney we had in town, we ask Keits if our assumption is true. Heās all, ānope, sheās bottom tierāā¦just as Hogosha expected to hear. Any reason why?
SRK is all she has. lol
yeah, raph and arm arenāt going anywhere for a while unless someone finds something really broken from another character to bump these two down.
Iām more interested in Don, Shredd, Mike and WNut. I believe thereās still some unexplored potential with these characters and I could never really decide who is the better of the bunch. IMO they belong in A-tier but exactly where they stand in the rank canāt really be finalized w/o some sort of active community to collect information from.

Also hereās a vid of why aska is so poor vs ninja turtles. Weak jump ins, low damage, lengthy but slow pokes and no real answers to full screen fireballs pretty much sums up what I had in my original write up. Aska can still win matches against them though but itās a definite uphill battle for her. Feel free to discuss the vid or whatever.

Could you guys give me some pointers/combos for donatello?
Im trying to get good with him but he seems to be low tier. Maybe I just donāt know what iām doing though.
Characters that come naturally to me are Armagon and Ryu, I mean leo =P
This game has been the only game in my snes for a good year now.
Don doesnāt really have any combos. Space with ground flaw, st.hp is tool that can be used for everything (block string/meter gain/anti-air/great poke in general) and his slide for counter pokes/throw set ups
Iāve never really taken the time to use Don but that is my take on him from what I have seen from him.
I could be wrong.

Donās bnb when theyāre dizzy is jumping fierce, mash punch. It does great damage.
You can do low jab into mash punch which is decent, and I assume this can be done from a down + jab or roundhouse cross up. Iāve never actually tried, most of what I know about Don is from playing against him. Maybe his QCB+K thing is a better move for combos besides his dizzy bnb.
