yeah you guys are right, rat king is on a tier of his own, not as high as karai but still higher than the rest. also, from what i remember mikey was damn strong as well, super fast and fast recovering firebal, godly dp, nice roll attack, killer super. again, the game has been far too long ago. i dl the rom on the laptop but im having trouble pressing more 3 butttons at the same time cause the lt just doesnt allow it. im basing this on experience from like 15 years ago.

I have been a part of the TMNT community since its conception.
I have been a part of the Arcade Tournament community since its recent explosion via shoryuken.com and the conception of the worldās largest tournament, EVO.
I feel there must be a union of the lasting appeal of TMNT and the ever increasing momentum of the Fighting Game community. Major corporations such as Capcom, SNK and Namco have taken consideration of this communities input, and are thusly prospering. These companies have chosen to directly align themselves with the Fighting Game community by both adhering to advice given by Shoryuken.com, as well as contributing to the EVO tournaments.
Based on my observations, study and analysis of these two communities, there is no doubt that the TMNT property, as well as the Fighting Game Community, will mutually prosper from joint ventures.
**TMNT FIGHTING GAME **
There are two options that could possibly be successful in this endeavor. The first, having greatest risk but greatest reward, is to grant Capcom (or possibly Namco) the use of the TMNT property to create an entirely new game.
The second option, with less risk but less reward, is to have TMNT characters featured in a future release of an already existing Fighting Game franchise such as Tekken, Soul Calibur or even Street Fighter. There are several options in this which will create direct and immediate failure, which I can address if the need for that information develops.
I have a wealth of ideas that could contribute to the success of such ideas, and will be more than happy to share with as need develops, and I ask for nothing in return. Furthermore, my knowledge and enthusiasm to help and guide is surpassed by the active members of the Street Fighter community at Shoryuken.com.
IMPLICATIONS OF SUCCESS
By aligning the TMNT property with Capcom, there are several implications of great mutuall success. I will list them as concisely as possible.

Community is becoming older. The concept of āteenagerā in the 80ās is the mold for āchildā today. There is diminishing interest in childish humor and flash, but growing interest in creative depth of both story and interraction. Catering to an older audience, while not alienating a younger audience with gore and profanity, will create the best results here. This was an aim of Nintendoās with the creation of the Wii, and now itās sales top the charts.

Capcom is currently aligned with a company name Udon, which I know TMNT is aligned with as well. By uniting with Capcom, the ties will grow stronger between these three entities, allowing for the possibility of anime, further comics, Udon drawn 2-D games like SF: Remix and so forth. Furthermore, with the emergence of the system used for Street Fighter 4, it is apparent that creating a fighting game is much easier than the days of drawing sprites, without losing quality.

Street Fighter and TMNT were a strong factor in the development of the lives of children that have grown to become the driving force behind this community. In my history within this community, it feels as though there is a void that can only be filled by the presence of the TMNT **
EDIT: First thing I see that could be updated or changed is that not only should TMNT be offered to Capcom (IMO), but it should be offered so long as Capcom adheres to the opinion of SRK and such. Maybe thatās stretching it a bit far.
Another thing to be noted: I kept saying āthis communityā but perhaps I should be more specific and say the Fighting Game community or something. I donāt know.

I have long maintained that TMNT:TF was the best fighter on SNES that didnāt have āStreet Fighterā in the title.
Sadly, I donāt see any revival/remake being possible. At least not possible in the way that we would like to see. The game is way too hardcore in its current form. The most likely thing youāll see is a waggle-fest for Wii like the new Castlevania fighter.
re: CDome
We know that EPD can grab out of block stun (all commanrd throws?), but canāt it also grab out of hit stun? I used to do with CDome: Dive kick, c.LKx2/3, EPD for massive damage. The c.LK looked like it would cancel right into the EPD, and I canāt recall ever having it reversed.
And Rat King was really retarded. Not ā1 button infinite that also keeps you in infinite block stunā Karai retarded, but you could win with pretty much one button (HK).

BODY MASSAGE loop revised! This guy finds a shortcut for CDome body massage loop (lp throw>j.Hp>walk up>lp throw). The one I developed is pretty much obsolete now as there is more room for error (lp throw>j.Hp>cr. lkx3, cr.lk+hk [cps chain]>dizzy>repeat). The ulār of the vid apparently didnt do his homework as this loop will only work on ninja turtles and war. Itās still pretty beast though.
I know DS is going to be the first in line to step up for the free, improved technique BODY MASSAGE. Double the satisfaction for less workā¦my clients will be happy (inside joke)

Im not 100% on this but that seems about right. Ive gotten away w/ cr.lk repeated ticking on hit then landed a free EPD w/o any retaliation. Who knows, maybe theres some 1f window for reversal like w/ some of giefs advanced tick setups. As soon as more people start to get back into the game, then we can run more tests for situations like this.
I have a lot of match exp for this game and have done LOTS of testing but iām sure theres still some crap that I and the NYTF players dont know about or developed counter strats for. But let me just say this: TF KEEPS EVOLVING! so iām sure someone will find an answer to even the most ridiculous shit (outside of Karai/ratking).
Whenever I cancel into EPD on hit I always get an accidental jumping jab. How late can you cancel in this game?
I already know what characters Iām going to use, Iām just curious to see how the characters rank against each other.
wow you just took it back with this game I was in like 4th grade when it came out I remeber my boy who use to rent games lend me his copy and I use to pick the chick cool fighting game hopefully they put it on the wii virtual console one day
Thanks, I wasnāt sure if characters could reversal after landing from Armagonās throw, good to know they can. I guess this still creates a sort of guessing game in Armagonās favor though, he could fake going for the tick throw and then back off and bait their reversal? Although some of those moves (C. Shredder, Aska, etc) are still pretty hard to punish on block haha.
