I wasnt really feeling the Emrick thing much. Dude failed at fighting a bird thing, helped make some dust, then died of old age. I dont think that little montage of him near the end of the episode was really necessary, Felt like it overblows things. “Remember all those times we had with Emrick audience?” “That whole 20+ minutes?”

And I definitively didnt care for how the episode ended:

Cheetara: “Hey, Lion-O! Should we try to slip away and stick to the plan of finding the book of mcguffin, since we learned in last week’s “lesson” that we shouldn’t do shortsighted revenge shit and think of the bigger picture.”

Lion-O: “Lol no. This week we learned that we should live our lives to the fullest and that why we’ll charge an army that kicked out entire race’s collective ass and get ourselves cornered, so we can pray for a deus ex machina to save us!”

Tigra: “Fuck yeah! I’ll forget that last week, I was all about not doing retarded shit and instead insist that we do this suicide attack! Because suddenly Thundercats never back away! Even if it means certain death as far as we can tell!”

I agree with everything you said, “20 mins of memories” oh the cheese, I love this crap lol Of course if you have an avatar like that I’ll agree with anything you say

It’s a bit strange to see Mumm-Ra using a vehicle instead of magic, but damn his car is bad-ass. I’d love to have that as my car for real… the Thundertank finally has some decent competition in the category of awesome vehicles.

Had to happen, it’s another $30-40 toy parents will have to buy their children this Christmas. This show has so much potential, I really hope it doesn’t devolve into a half-hour toy commercial. *

Good episode, although the pacing feels a bit rushed. Only thing that bother’s me is, why is Mumm-Ra out in daylight?

Man this show has been meh since after the premiere. Got characterization issues, pacing issues, and directing issues.

Nice Mumm-Ra moblie there. Makes me want to go play SNES StarFox again.

Panthro not knowing how to swin made me go “God fucking shit, really? really?”

Yeah I’m not very impressed with show. Could be better, but it can still can get better. I hope it does anyway.

Seems he was some leader of a space fleet in the distant past, with the Thundercats as underlings. I like the twist, although I don’t know how the Eye of Thundera/ Book of Omens tie into all this.

you’re really gonna complain about that aspect? if anything it was pretty funny.
I still think the show is pretty solid so far and it seems like they’re sowing the seeds for something big at the end of the season. If anything, the episode came off like a season finale a littel.

I find it absurd that Panthro somehow sank to the bottom of the room, entered the secret door and somehow managed to reach the top of the room before everyone else drowned. That whole sequence made no sense.

the only reason for me to watch the new thundercats so far is Cheetara, damn she´s hot, everything else makes no fucking sense lol. I want ep7 nao ;_;
