At this point, no. However, they still have a week’s time to push the date back, so they’re definitely not promising anything either.
I noticed that the cover art for issue 12 has been revealed as well, but I averted my eyes the instant I saw it. I’m sure I’ll break down and examine its details eventually, but for now, I’m content to bask in the anticipation. It’ll be sad to see Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely depart, but I think seeing how it all wraps up is going to be incredible.
Darkseid to me SHOULD be a DCU villain, not just a superman one (that undermines Lex Luthor’s role)
Mongul WTF??
one word…
he can’t fly. and only has Super Strength, A Big Ego, and lots of threats.
I just watched Lois and Clark and noticed HOW EASILY superman can beat him in a non lethal matter…
he just stood away and melted his feet , he was crippled but he was still alive.
Parasite? sheeesh just stand away… freeze him so thick throw him into space for awhile where the ice can’t melt while handling his other rogues.
Bizarro, since this dumbF*ck can’t think straight, use his superpeed to avoid the sluggish blows and KO him at vital points
Silver Banshee?? just throw any of the previous three disabled villains at her,
Terraman WTF? if Terraman can actually prevent Black Adam from tearing his body in half like in 52 then he Might be a contender for a superman Rogue.
Prankster and Toyman… same logic but with a graphical presentation like in Superman: Doomsday, if Toyman was able to resist the Superman clone from dropping him and stood a fight then i rest my case (in being wrong).
ASS #11 today. Go get it, people.
That is, unless I’m hallucinating or dreaming, which is entirely possible when it appears that an issue of ASS has actually shipped on time.
For seriouslys?! FREAKING SWEET! I’ll pick mine up next week when I have some dough.
Okay, issue 12 can’t arrive quickly enough.
Wow didn’t know there were other Superman fans on this site. Anyways you can tell by my PSN id how much of a Superman fiend I am and good to be among my own.
ASS #11? ?was great as always, not as good as #10 (which was the single best comic issue of the year) but it was so damm fun to read. Even the robots were cool
I agree. #10 is one of the best issues of this run, and I didn’t think #11 topped it nor did I expect it to. Nevertheless, it’s a fine comic and one hell of a set-up for the big finale next issue (which hopefully arrives with the same timeliness as this one, so the suspense doesn’t cause me to die).

if there’s anything missing can you fill me in.
I started reading All-Star Superman, and I’m impressed… I put it up there amongst the Alan Moore written issues.
Grant Morrison is a great writer.
I’m actually looking forward to the current five part “Braniac” arc in Action Comics, I hear it will retcon Braniac out of the Milton Fine origin (I hope it retcons Kandor too)
I Haven’t down- I mean read the Action Story arc involving the Legion.
I’m wondering why haven’t you been reading All-Star Superman. It has all the qualities you want in a comic book.
I already did, It’s good though I hate the art. but still IMO better than all star Batman.
Finally got my copy. Any word on who will write the series after issue 12? If it can’t match Morrison’s greatness they may as well cancel the book.
Not really sure yet. There’s a small chance Morrison may write a little bit more, and Chris Weston might draw it. I hope that happens. I know Weston has begged Morrison to let him draw the next arc. That sounds pretty great - especially if Superman has a chance to fight off giant sperms of mass destruction. How crazy would it be for a Superman comic to out-Filth The Filth?
Just read #11 of All-Star Supes. DAAAAAAAAAAAAANG! Morrison has brought his A+++ game. I don’t want him to leave the book.
I just read Superman: The Kansas Sighting by J.M. DeMatteis and some artist I never heard of, Paul Tolagson. It’s a two-part Prestige Format miniseries that came out a few years ago and it starts with the premise that Jor-El did some research on the planet Earth before sending his son. It’s actually a pretty compelling story, with a nice mystery about alien abductions and Clark using his mind and will to solve the problem. Surprisingly, the story doesn’t feel at all like a retread of DeMatteis’ typical “love is the way” New Age themes. And the art’s really impressive, to the point where I was shocked I never heard of the guy before.
The Action comics arc Braniac looks promising.
Which issue does this start with? Looks like an alright jumping on point.
