One thing that many people dont understand is that crosplay will always add another layer of terribadness to connections on your netcode.
It requires a lot of work to make it work, since you have 2 or more different platforms with different specs interacting with each other.
If having different specs and configurations gives problems between players on PC, is only logical that it will be the same between pc and consoles.

It sucks because Mike is obviously a pretty talented coder, and the game was clearly a passion project on the part of him and everyone else who worked on it

Considering that the latinx (because he is in no way a latino) was the one making a innocuous conversation āracially chargedā by being the one taking it that way, i can only assume that not every instance was necessarily as bad as they made it seem to be.

We might be seeing the outcry now because itās a good time to strike.
Mike got canceled already, so his PR is shot and there are clear financially-related motives for those employees to give him the boot one way or the other.
I canāt imagine a serious company hiring any of these people and I straight up donāt trust them at all. That doesnāt mean Mike didnāt fuck up though.
Questionable sources or not, there are several people, in and out of Lab Zero telling similar stories. That by itself warrants some consideration.
We know Mike is socially inept at best. Itās not hard to imagine heās an habitual line-stepper.
The obvious result is that the last patch for SG really was the one that adds SonicFoxās Fursona instead of porting Annie to the PC/Console versions.

What bothers me is:
They say they tried to buyout the company from Mike to remove him, but his offer was unreasonable.
If they have all these allegations and they had internal investigations which should easily prove them, why the fuck didnāt they just lawyer up and strong armed him into a better deal?
Something just doesnāt add up.

Yeah, I was considering maining Lucia for awhile until I ran into Honda. Like you, I was clueless what to do. Not to mention there are a ton of Hondaās in my area.
Went back to Cody, and the matchup was a breeze in comparison.
Their strong arming is to cancel him and torch the studio so no one will be willing to work with him unless they want to be associated with the worst type of scum on earth, the one that says shit that makes you feel uncomfortable.
