Not necessarily. I believe them more because the offenses listed in the different accounts coincide. Corroborated by other staff members. And now we’ve got people from outside the company corroborating how much of a sexual creep he is. So, I really want to see if he accepts or rejects these claims against him. And if he accepts the accusations, I want to see if he tries to rationalize his actions. I am open to being surprised.

But on this day and age is not difficult to organize yourself to create a narrative.
Just food for thought.
I seen it happen thrice in some cases i helped as a consultant for a special unit in my country some years back before my mother finally retired (she was an district attorney), where some people were trying to smear a third party as a scape goat and try to deflect the investigation his way.

One thing is for sure, the guy needs help.
Here is the thing, there is a clear monetary gain from those outing him that in my eyes makes it difficult to accept at face value the accusations.
As hard to believe it could be, i am not on Mike side (although, i hate cancel culture by principle, be deserved or not), i just cant ignore that all this exodus is by their own admition not about him being a creep but that the all employees equity process fell off.
The allegations are just a clear way to fuck him over since no one will want to associate with him, so since they cant have it their way, he wouldnt at least have it his way.

Of course there’s a clear gain from it but it’s not like these dudes are exactly vultures, they worked on the game too. Alex had the lore and the designs yeah, Mike was - the - coder
But the music, the animation, and a lot of things that brought the game to life was these guys. If I were in their shoes hell yeah I’d take a shot at owning it. Like I said though, if I were in Mike’s position I’d try to flush them too

I played Dayaan in both DBFZ and SFV.
SFV was worse. A lot worse. Mind you that besides the ridiculous distance, he was on WiFi at the time.
DBFZ had like, 7, 8f of delay but it at least was much more stable than SFV.
Almost everyone here has played me and can attest to similarly worse results in SFV compared to other games.
In fact, as Cipher will gladly remind you, he can play me in a Germany-Brazil connection in BBCF and it’s legit playable just because of how stable it is.
While I’ll always give Capcom props for trying to implement Crossplay and Rollback in SFV, the results are not praise-worthy.
It’s one of the worst netcodes in the market rn. And that’s not based on just the extreme examples I mentioned.
I’ve seen people get relay connections that made a match unplayable between people in the same city, with the same ISP, both having known wired connections.
After a rough 2019, the goal for Lab Zero was to become an employee-owned company, where everyone would have equity and the workers would enjoy the benefits of their work.

While I do believe that it’s suspect taking this kind of money as motivation and knowing that Mike Z is probably autistic, it’s just impossible to ignore over 5 separate sources telling that he’s all kinds of fucked up.
It honestly sounds like the company gotta blow up.
Regardless of financial motivations or potential disabilities, clearly Mike is a problem and I wouldn’t be surprised if another company was made by the disgruntled employees of Lab Zero. Hopefully without the usual results of said companies.

2 things to take from this.
Never promise a part from your company.
Milenials and Zoomers should admit that boomers and other old folks had it right, in that you want to keep your work enviroment as professional as possible.
Playing deivls advocate, Maybe Mike thought he could joke with them like he does with his other friends, but due his position of power, the dynamic was never really of equals.
So any interaction would be always escrutinized.
I can only assume that i would be called literally Hitler if i joked with someone in a place like Lab Zero like i do with my closer friends and siblings and some cousins.
Niggas dont know how to navigate themselves at different social/job interactions and think that they can just be their “special” selfs.
All I know is, if someone I considered a best friend does dumb shit I never knew about, I wouldn’t just say fuck you to try to make me look like a better person on social media lol. Kids these days are weird. Yea you would call your best friend out, but it would be in private and on a personal level to help fix their dumb shit.
