Whether all of this is true or not, whether Mike Zās a humongous creep or the workers are just soft, I am just upset.
For a moment in time, Skullgirls was all on my mind. I have been following the development since the beginning and seeing any update was hype to me. So seeing it end up like this is depressing.

Considering they already booted Alex Ahad from the company, and now they want to boot Mike, Lab Zero was already ādeadā one way or another.
TBH, all i am seeing is people trying to take what others worked hard to build, and are mad because the owners dont want to let go what they worked for.
I am with Pertho in that if they kick Mike, then Lab Zero should just die.
Since the 2 people who actually made both games be a thing with their work will be gone, so there wouldnt be a point to it.
MK games definitely have a lot of money at their disposal, but the stuff Iām asking for is basic fighting game content that literally anyone can have in their game.
You donāt need some huge triple A budget to have in-game fighting data like frames, damage, demo animations, ect. You donāt need Warner Brothers money to have good rollback. You donāt need endless pockets for crossplay, or a decent selection of AT LEAST fighter colors. We know this because plenty of small time games pop up with ALL of these features, and more.
With a lot of these games, I feel like I ask for almost nothing, and I am still dissapointed lmao.

I have seen interviews with kiunko, she seemed like a very introvert, shy person. That gotta have had to suck for her.

Actually, you need a considerable investment for crossplay.
One of the major reasons why you dont see crossplay is because you need to invest in the infrastructure for it.
Most companies decide to go with the cheap alternative that is to use the servers of their hosts (PSN, XBLA, Nintendo, Steam)
The reason why PBotG has crossplay is because they used their own infrastructure, since they already have one because the company makes mobile games.
And you can tell that the project had to compromise in everything else because of that 
And while all what you mention is desirable, the truth is that not many money people will see it as a dealbreaker.
Like i said before (i sound like a broken record), smaller brands will always push for more value for your money when they can to try to appeal to the market when competing with more stablished brands.
Just look how ASW pushed with games like BB and Xrd with plenty of features that just until recently other companies started to adopt, and now, other smaller companies are pushing for other new stuff to compete.
But, you only see those features becoming standards when the public resonates with them, and sadly, it hasnt been the case yet since so far, only rollback netcode has become a hot topic until recently, to give you an example.
IIRC Kinuko did artwork for a homie of mine. Already reached out to him because I knew he was close with a lot of the Lab Zero crew.

Sorry, but all the supposed allegations still only amount to Mike being socially inept, and the people complaining being oversensitive snowflakes.
Every supposed evidence is just Mike being socially ackward, nothing more.
And the context we have seen so far only paints them worse because it seems that is about taking his company because supposedly they were promised equal shares over it, and now are mad that Mike is not going through it.
We have incomplete info, and for all we know, they are doing this in retaliation because the negotiations are not going their way.
I have seen multiple times people organizing to destroy the reputation of someone else for any kind of gain to believe allegations just because some group say it.
So yeah, until i have concrete evidence, and not just some random post on twitter, i believe nothing.

Again, the one who said that story was someone who was told it happened, not someone who heard it directly.
He even admited that the person who told the story was leaving the company to make her own, and he considered the possibility it was a lie to try to scope other employees to go work with her.

From what we have seen itās more than being socially awkward: itās inappropriate, wrong and insulting.
While thereās cases of what you mention, I highly doubt thatās the case and even more doubt that they all got together to enact this evil plan to set the dogs loose on him while trying to āstealā his company.

There is a clear monetary conondrum between them.
So is not difficult to assume that all this public exodus is a way to preassure him to go though whatever negotiations they had.
I wouldnt be surprised that they saw his shaky state in the eyes of social media as an oportunity to get a better deal, and by their own posts we can see that was probably what made the whole process fall, so now they are going public as a way to force his hand.
This is not a moral thing, is an economic one.
