I remember calling that GBVS Lowain was either going to be stupid strong or really bad. It’s hard to make a character like that merely “decent” unless you make his core gimmicks worthless and give him solid fundamental tools instead of focusing on the unique aspects of the character.

Testament has been one of the most used chars in all the games he has been, even on the ones he was low tier.
In slash he was mid tier, although some considered him low tier.
On AC+R he was between B+ and A-.
His unblockables were toned down, but he gained his #R moves back to compensate.
Is funny how he was the most complete version but it wasnt unfair.

Actually Curse is the whole problem, cause Arakune right now is completly worthles if he doesn’t Curse you in one Combo.
Tbh, i think people exagerate how weak Zato is on Rev2, he certainly isnt top, but i dont think he is below middle tier.
I don’t think there was a character that wasn’t annoying to fight against in accent core, cause everyone was cheap as hell lol.

Lucky Nu was there to stop his degeneracy with her totaly fair and balanced Neutral, Space Control and own degeneracy.
God I loved Accent Core. Testament Badlands loops, Jam FB Puffball, Slayer’s Big Bang Upper, all of Sol’s damage coming from Sidewinder…
It was my favorite version of GG.

When a character has execution as it’s main limiter/flaw, you can rest assured that it’ll be a busted piece of shit.

Been messing around with FEXL and I like that game a lot.
Darun is fun as hell, and with progressive inputs, 720’s turn into a up down motion. Too bad this game deader than dead and I can’t get games
