I’ve been Daruning some friends myself. Progressive inputs and guard cancel gougis make that character absolutely idiotic, you can’t pressure him without getting SPDed.
You’re US, right? I’d probably play some games with you if you’re on PC, but the rollback netcode that just got implemented is supposed to be absolute pants.

I’m on PS4, so no games. I think they’re working on cross play. Supposed to be an update on the 28th, iirc.

Plus his SPD is kara cancellable. Not sure if the throw range gougis apply to command throws or not, haven’t labbed it yet…

Nah, throw range gougis only buff regular throws. And thank fuck for that, since s.HK - kara cancel - 720 on progressive inputs is hella easy and grabs from unreasonably far away regardless.

I had been canceling s.HP into SPD or 720. Now I get to find out what increases the range more in the lab later, cause looking up tech in this game is more work than just figuring it out yourself.

Thinking of using my BB Tag money to get the new Tony Hawk game instead. That thing looks awesome and THPS2 was one of my favourite games as a teen (excluding fighting games and FPSs anyway).
I’m also having way too much fun in MK and don’t want to detract myself from that too much. Tony Hawk would just be a fun game to play for a few minutes here and there.
So on the smasher guy, not gknna bury the dude here because I dont really have beef with him anynore.
But the dude was bonered up about DBF on release and wanted run that along with smash at rhe venue we shared.
Long story short, he ran the first DBF tournament in my city and did it…on one set up. 20 man DBF tournament back when people didnt have optimized combos or pressure, 2/3…
