I stoped paying attention after Eltnum was insisting to get a new Melty Blood.
Easy, Gran has no personality, since heās just a hull for the player.
God Eater Protag in both Anime and Game are 2 different worlds.
In the game you make the personality up along the way of the story, cause itās you.
In the anime they gave the protag the most boring ass background and reason to be there imagenable and heās a complete idiot on top of that.
At least the scenes were he ends up fighting with Alisa are worth something.
I can give you that some little details could made them seem like that.
But if you actually put attention and just dont go hurr durr anime school uniform, is clear, that in the setting they are anything but that.
At best, you could say that Orie is an āuniformā for a semi religious branch, but is when you see her companions of the same brand, at most what they have is the similar color schem, then you have wagner that has a look of her own with her own color scheme.
I believe Orieās dress is literally her special posh private academy uniform, isnāt it?

Hyde is definitively a school uniform, just worn loose, he even has the tie and on one of his shoulder there is the school patch. As per eltenum, I know itās the same look as Melty, and thatās an Anime school uniform. Phonon itās just schoolgirl clothes.
Thatās exactly what they are.
Legit pick damn near any shounen action anime or manga that has a school setting and they look just like the stuff you see in Unist.

Because if he got any more personality with what little they had, he and Djeeta would not fulfill their purpose. Which just being a self-insert for the players.
So is Narukami, and while heās an unbearable Mary Sue, he at least does have his own thing.

That always felt kinda weird to me. I could kinda see Nine hot for Jubei if he was one of those deviant artish anthromorphic cat dudes or sumpthinā but Jubei is literally a 4 foot tall cat who stands on two legs. She literally banged a big cat. No shade thrown, just saying.
Honestly I donāt know anything about Belial I just felt he radiated a lot of PGE (positive gay energy) and had to say something.

eltnum wears the uniform of an egyptian research institute called ATLAS, you can see little details on her clothes like an eye of horus and shit theyre mage illuminati
also UNIST story mode is cool and i like it but its very hit or miss bc its actually just a VN prologue to the main events that havent even happened yet. it succeeded in making me like some characters though, byakuyas backstory was particularly good
So far itās fun enough if youāre looking for a beat-em-up to play with friends. Which is what I was looking for so

The idea is that Grant is the naive sort of newcomer to the world larger than what he used to live in, at least is the characterization he has been given on the anime and manga.
The problem is that you cant really do much with that archetype in what little they can show in the game, when compared to other media he is show in.
While Djeeta is made to be more peppy and more like still naive but a little more experienced.
Basically to contrast 2 different type of players, those who are starting in the game, and the one who already grinded multiple levels.
