I also decided to buy Cassandra, as she’s my old main from SC2 and I had no characters outside of Mina in the original SC6-cast that I was actually interested in playing. Sophie feels a bit similar, but she never clicked with me in terms of gameplay, and she has the personality of a nun made out of cardboard. And her voice goes on my nerves.

Cass, on the other hand, seems heeeeella fun after a quick lab session. Lots of interesting tools in terms of her charge-gimmick, she has way more personality and a better voice, and she can use her butt as a whiff punisher. Definitely my secondary.

There’s way too many school uniforms in Undernight.
There are some interesting designs (see Hilda, Wald, Merk and maybe Mika) but for the rest it’s various flavours of regular clothes/school uniforms plus that one shirtless guy trope.
I can’t blame anyone for considering it generic. And if none of the character appeals to you visually you’ll probably never get to experience the amazing gameplay.

I disagree, everyone are memorable from my pov.
Not ground breaking, but very distinct between each other that you can tell who is who just by looking their color schemes or ther silhouettes.

And I understand it’s “assholes fighting in the streets at night” but it’s easy to understand why the character design is niche in a genre that is usually about over the top stuff.

Orie is also not a School Uniform, but a Dress of Licht Kreis.
Hyde wears also not a school uniform.
And Phono wears the most bitch ass street clothes I’ve seen a while.
