I just assume a better console (with faster processing power) will help prevent localized lag… Sorta like how SFV is too demanding for the PS4 (even if it’s because it’s unoptimized) and people are having better luck online with more powerful PCs

The hardware architecture between the PS5 and PS4 is very comparable between each other, mainly in the family of cpus they are using.
Since the game runs on UE4, the change in hardware is mostly transparent, so they should behave mostly if not the same.
Assuming the game had crossplay, all of them should perform the same on equal conditions.
As for the games being on pc and not having crossplay, the reality is that the majority of the playerbase for fgs is still on consoles, specially the sony brand when they release on the xbox.
So the only ones that are really getting the shaft are the pc begger race.

The optimization for SFV is a fucking atrocity.
I can run SC6 much, much better than SFV and SC is a much better looking game.

Actually, my country and el salvador have a sizeable amount of japanese and chinese people around here.
Most of them came around the start of ww2.
The chinese even got bigger after my country in a corruption scandal sold between 50k and 100k nationalities to exciled people from the mainland and people leaving honkong and taiwan during the 90s.
Suffice to say, all the money was stolen,

Idk about that, for me SF5 runs very smooth.
I kinda thought the PS4 was fairly underpowered (because of SFV) until I saw what id could do on Doom Eternal.

SFV is much more demanding that it should be, but if you got enough power to run it, it doesn’t matter. 
Idk, i never checked how much it draws from my hardware. I just crank all on max and play.

The problems with SFV are not really hardware related.
More taxing games perform way better that SFV.
All the problems come from a rushed job, or a poorly handled one due lack of experience or care.
Lts not forget that SFV is a game where you have a lag cycle where the inout lag keeps growing with time.
And is not something that happens due being done on UE4, since the same lag cycle is present on SF30th, so is something related on how they code their games.

I gave a way an old (2010) laptop to a dude on here that could not run SFV. I had to run it at 1024x600, but it was running at 60fps.

I have to put most stuff between low and medium and run it at 720p to make sure it runs at 60fps no matter what. 
You can install apps like reshade to tweak pretty much everything in the game to make it look better or worst.
It’s very usefull for people that want to make the game look better or ease down on graphics to make it run better.

Question, since you have SFV on PC, why havent you extracted the 3d model for robo juri?
Honestly ? I am more focused on actually learning sculpting at the moment rather than poses / animations.
