And speaking of variations.I still find it weird how it’s supposed to be the one thing that sets you apart yet for some reason custom ones are locked from competitive and devs decide what you should use.
they were crunched, and didn’t have time to think it through properly. I think they realized at the last minute (after the betas) that there was no way to change these through the character select screen and fumbling through these at the kustomization area was way too cumbersome for an offline tournament, and they crunched in the last few weeks to make these tournament ones ready before launch.
They may have also been worried balancing this would be hard, but to be honest. I think this is overblown. Most people are going to pick the same abilities anyway. If one is exceptionally OP, nerf it. If some never sees the light of day, buff it. I actually think having three tournament variations is a bit more cumbersome to balance.
A couple months ago, Boon said in a gamespot interview that he’d like to see customs be tournament legal and that it would make it more fun for the players and viewers. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re working on it, but this should have been thought about right after they came up with customization idea.
A lot of people/some people genuinely like SF5. I can see why but it aint for me.
But people just have to start being honest with themselves about it. Reminds me a lot of the MvC3 change of mind where suddenly people started calling it a good game. Still thought the game was ass but called it good anyways.
A quick update, Ramen pizza became available today, my wife apparently watched an IRL streamer eating it.
I’ll purchase it for dinner this saturday and give you the review.
If you don’t like the game, don’t fucking play it!
Play something else, if you keep forcing yourself to play something you don’t like for shit like “being mainstream” or “eSports” you’re a damn idiot.
Thats like doing a job you absoluty hate, just because it’s a job that everyone wants to do.
