The KI documentary was amazing. I like how they intentionally hid the sound in the early days and IG combat manager saying about finding the disease not symptoms thing.

Hisako too was amazing that’s why I was requesting the wraith in slammaster in the before ken reveal of sfv but it ended up getting necali instead.

Quite sure SG is even farther than Taiwan from you

Hold on, let’s not rush to conclusions, she might still be shiksa enough, let’s not forget Twin allegedly played Izanami.

Baroque was kind of stupid, specially when paired with the burst system of the game.
The only reason why it was seemed as balanced was because it costed you red health, but also because of that you could use it almost at any time, and since burst took part of your health, you could be using a burst during the neutral to take away some health so you could do a baroque.

Both mechanics were an example of capcom trying to copy the mechanics that games from other companies did, but in a worse way, not understanding why it worked well on the other games, and just copying while making different without putting enough thought on if it would make sense or not to do it that way.

Didn’t know it was inspired from another FG, What was it inspired with that took red health part?

They took the idea of Roman Cancels and Bursts from GG.
But tried to give it a different spin, by making the Baroque take away red health instead of meter, and the Burst use meter instead of its own bar.

The problem is that by making it that way, alongside how each of them work in tandem, they easily become abusable.

For example, burst doesnt reset to neutral, so you could do some dumb shit like being eating a combo, burst into baroque into lvl 3 super and steal the match from your opponent.

I was trying to find a video to show that, but sadly it seems is lost to time, lol
In that one, you could see Tekkaman doing it, he is eating a combo from his opponent when he finally gets the meter needed to burst, so he proceeds to do it, do a baroque and do a super so he wins the match

Edit

Also, i am not totally sure, but i think you could do stupid stuff like do a combo, burst mid combo to gain red health, and then use the baroque in the same combo.
I am not 100% sure, but i think it was possible and i used to do that.

Either Setsuka is fine for me, but i kind liked her SC3 design more

Maybe is because her hair style was more elaborated and fancy than her SC4 design

What i dont remember is if in the lore, her real hair color was blonde, but that she died it to blend in, or if it was retconned as blonde just because, lol

Edit.
Also, i would fucking kill for Namco to release the old costumes, weapons and hair styles as new customization options.
I want to be able to use the SC4 and 5 versions of my mains.

The former. She’s part European (never stated which actual country from there) and dyed her hair to better fit in Japan.

I think she was portuguese/part portuguese.

Edit

With Setsuka, all the chars from SC3 and SC4 would be in the game right?
Not counting Algol, Edgemaster and Olcadan, of course.

This would only leave the newcomers from SCV left, that for lore reasons would very likely not be made available.

That’d be too fucking cool if they brought back old costumes.

I wish they’d bring Raphael’s Soul Calibur 2 costume.

I just hope the game is doing well enough so we have a S3 and they are motivated enough to bring old content back.
They already brought the costumes designed by Yamatogawa from the free to play game, so it seems that is possible.

Also, since they added more customization races, it would be also cool if they added the costumes for the original chars that were on SC4, like Ashlotte and the rest.

It would be great if we could see costumes from the SC2 and 3 ear, but those seem to be the ones that would require more effort, since they will have to basically make them from scratch, while the SC4 and V stuff can use the existing stuff and just repurpose them, because lets face it, SC6 was made on the cheap, and they are basically reusing old content from the ps3 era games, lol.

My boy Yung sung or however you spell his name can’t catch a break.

Hopefully he’s back after setsuka, or SC2 lizardman

Still missing Rock, Yun Seong (though he may have been replaced by Hwang), Aeon/actual Lizardman. But it’s been a pretty good roster.

Shit, i forgot about them :joy:
I am sure that Hwang will be the next one.
As for Rock and Yun Seong seem to be replaced by Hwang and Astaroth, the same way that Maxi replaced Ling Long.

If Lizardman is back, i think it will be Aeon as his SCV incarnation, since it was the most unique and complete version of him.

We are missing 3 chars right?, on the Season pass, i mean.

Hilde and Haohmaru are the 2 confirmed out of the 4 they announced. Setsuka seems like a lock and Hwang has been leaked.

We really did turn into the Soul Calibur general lately, huh?

Well, then it means that if there is a S3, the only char left, besides bosses and random selects, would be Lizardman.

So, they would either had to bring SCV newcomers, or bring more guest chars, lol.
TBH, i dont see them bringing Rock and Hwang because Astaroth has inherited a lot of his moves, once again, and Yung Seong is a better well rounded version of Hwang

And yeah, it seems that the SC infection is in full effect, lol.

So they’re (reportedly) willing to put Christie in a separate slot (much like how they separated Kuma and Panda) but will not give us the OG Raven?
aight
