Keep in mind that the person starting the shitshow later admitted that wasnt what she was aiming to do, plus was always talking about and comissioning lewd art for her mains.
She just complained because she thought it was unprofessional and then the mob started their retardedness.
If I recall, it was on the beginning of the last thread.
But as Plus and Heca said, Iroha was released, a bunch of people started posting pics of her on Twitter because she’s dummy thicc, and the official SamSho account made a joke about it.
Literally “We all horny on main tonight.”
Note how the joke wasn’t even aimed at Iroha’s ass, it was aimed at the fandom (rightfully) going nuts over it.
Twitter had a meltdown.
It was really that stupid. Let me find the thread real quick.
I see. I didn’t really follow it. It blew up really fast, and I spent about 5 mins reading the thread (was shocked, awed, and chuckled) and never followed up lol.
Actually, the only reason why Sony didnt play ball with crossplay with M$ was because for years it was the other way around, with Sony trying to push for crossplay and M$ imposing a no crossplay policy.
It was until this generation that M$ started to push it because they were at the very bottom of the race, and Son just replied with the same coin.
Plenty of games have been crossplay since the very beginning this gen.
And in the case of SC6, is really a matter of Namco.
Since the game was made on the cheap, it seems it relies on the storefront servers instead of their own, so crossplay in that case is more unlikely.
Alright, we gotta clarify some things here about the real absurdity of the situation.
The official SNK twitter was “horny on mains” and some women didn’t like it, citing it was repulsive for an official twitter.
Women who are cool with lewd cosplay, lewd fan art and all sorts of other bullshit decide to clutch their pearls at it.
More specific to SRK, the person who wanted to post nude fan art she commissioned of characters took exception to jokes about nude fan art being commissioned of characters as a joke.
It was unprofessional but I don’t get the hate
SNK is a professional video game company which made the character to look that way because of that specific response it created. Iroha looks that exactly for people to be horny.
Twitter is used for informal communication and common man humor constantly by multiple professional entities. Nothing they did was out of character for the shenanigans companies use twitter for. It was literally “gamers” who want to be respected suddenly mad that the horny bullshit they were sold was acknowledged and advertised as horny bullshit by the people who created it.
