CTF Raindance is prone to flag turtling in the gen rooms, from the few matches I’ve played on it. Maybe I’m just playing against/with bad teams and my fat Doombringer ass can’t do anything about it besides camp alongside or go outside for some fresh air/fly over to the flagstand and sit there.
CP Raindance is great fun, though.
Also, I didn’t mention it before, but this game’s OST is pretty gersh-dern good.

I finally got this game working. For some reason, I had to reinstall Win7 to get it going.

I did have a dual monitor setup. But I sold the 2nd monitor, and I was still having problems with it. Didn’t help that my prior installation wasn’t a pre-format installation, though.

oh ok yeah maybe not everyone but just from skimming the thread seems like a lot of new players who have little or no experience with the franchise.
Ive never played a Tribes game before this one. Im like level 5 in this shit. I still havent figured out how to keep my momentum going to well. I’ll get going fast but if I try to turn my dude just stops. Then I get busted on.
While moving fast, you can’t really turn. Let off the ski, and hit the jet pack to change direction a little easier. Then make sure you come down on a slope, and hold ski again.
Thats cool. It just seems like if I slow down or stop I get one shotted. Is that even a word, shotted? hmhmhm
