People have legitly been calling me a hacker in TDM. I get around 30 kills a game, hitting the Tribal Fanatic and Unstoppable along the way. The sad thing is that I wasn’t really hitting a lot of air shots, it was mostly just ground shooting. I find that kinda sad.
Been playing Doombringer and I realized I really need to work on my leading. Some matches I’ll do really well and the flag won’t get touched once (exaggeration) when I’m not off searching for more ammo (unless a Supply Drop is conveniently around me somewhere), and some matches I won’t get a single kill, even against most of the same players form the previous match (map problems?). Watching Pathfinders fly right into your forcefields behind the flag or on top of them sure is satisfying, though. I can’t wait to get Mines. And Superheavy. I hate being blasted away from the flag by an unseen disc.
I’m debating whether to save up for Brute or Raider. I seem to encounter more Raiders and think they perform all-around better with a more-rounded toolset, though Brute has those Fractal 'nades and some scary close-range capabilities in bases. Then again, Raiders do too.
It didn’t take me too long to get used to the pacing after having not played a UT game for about six years, even after being spoiled on the comparatively-slower TF2 (doesn’t mean it isn’t any less fun or any “worse”; still love that game).
In short, I’m ass at this game, but it’s really damn fun.
So basically, the Inf. is now a combination of the TFC Spy, the TF2 Demoman, and CoD throwing knives?
That sticky launcher is going to be hell for gen rooms (even moreso than the class already is; defending against them on Katabatic is already problematic. Or maybe I/my team just sucks).
Can’t wait to see what the other classes get. I’m guessing whatever was at the end there was something new for Sentinel?
Looks like it (I don’t play Sentinel either). I’m referring to the puff of smoke that appears when he shoots the flying guy. That, and they just throw a clip of the Sentinel at the end of an Infiltrator video.
So according to rumor, Ascend is coming to Steam. Which isn’t surprising; I’d be more surprised if it wasn’t.
The only thing that irritates me in this game is the disparity between exp. costs and gold costs. On stuff like mines (75,000 exp. to… 150 gold, or something close to that), it’s just a little too obvious.
Oh well, at least I unlocked Superheavy. Gotta go fat!
Started playing yesterday and I suck. My friend who started playing yesterday as well is always top 3 though, what a cunt ass bitch .
Game is fun as hell though, for now.
