Picked up Ketsui on my 360 again yesterday. Trying to work on getting all the achievements (currently at 917/1000 on it), but the last few big ones I need require me to 1CC both arcade and x-mode with both ships. I’ve 1CC’d arcade with the Tiger Schwert, and 1CC’d X-Mode with the Panzer Jager, but I can’t seem to do it the other way around to get the achievements
But on the plus side, on my last run with the Panzer in arcade mode, I broke my old high score by about 700K.
Also, that 33G achievement for getting 33,333 3 chips is obnoxious, because I can never seem to get them consistently enough to build up the count significantly. All the other achivements for collecting specific chip values are much easier to get.
I’ll look mine up and send you a copy as soon as I get my other computer back. If that isn’t going to be soon, I’ll hunt down the link I had to it. Don’t worry. You’ll be getting shot no later than Monday at the very latest.
Is there actual joypad support, or am I just better off using joy2key?
EDIT: From the footage I’m watching, it seems that the ship has a very small hitbox like all bullet-hell games seem to include… well at least I know its possible to beat…(I gave up on Ikaruga after getting through Stage 3 with no continues/extra lives, too much time has to be invested in it to be good, too memory-based for me, not enough reaction involvement)
You can use 7zip or any .rar extracting utility to uncompress the iso…
From there click on the one that says setup and then you’ll get a whole bunch of weird hieroglyphs because generally a computer does not have the ability to understand other languages, only the language pack you have installed to windows(English for most)…

EDIT: Damn this game is hard as fuck… you have to pay for continues(with game money) and if you use it in a subsequent playthrough, its gone, and you have to buy it/more than 1 again…
If you want to skip stages, beat them, or make enough money to skip to the next…

So I really rather enjoy this concept album I guess you could say, Level 2, from the band Last Chance To Reason. I like the album on it’s own and this accompanying shmup seems like a really neat way to listen to an album and experience the story it’s trying to tell. Here’s a video of it:
