I was gonna cop some shit this month, but money had to go elsewhere. Looks like the first can’t get here fast enough now. When I get paid, I’m gonna get that 360 lovin going on. might have to drop some money on a new PC too. I don’t wanna get shot, I wanna get shot, have it sound good, and make a videoclip about it.

Got my hands on Bullet Soul earlier this week. It’s really fun so far. The only thing I don’t really like is that the “souls” really do nothing in this game, the entirety of scoring is based on acquiring hidden bonuses throughout the levels and shooting enemies point-blank. Still really fun. I actually did a credit-feed run through the game on my livestream channel a few nights ago here:

Overall, the game is fun, but considering it only has the one game mode, I’d try to get it used so you don’t pay $80+ for it.

Playing Batsugun. Now that it has sound I am enjoying it immensely. I am playing the Special Version and getting to the stage 4 boss without continues, not bad for only one day of playing. Such a great game, old school style fused with modern bullet hell with none of the bizarre gimmicks.
What did yall think of raiden 4?

I got use to fighter ace I played the red ship that looks like a HOTH ship from star wars, lol… ALL OVER THE PLACE!
The lack of ships pisses me off I had so many favorites in ACE

One thing you gotta realize is that the Raiden Fighters games are really only related to Raiden by name (they weren’t even originally going to be called “Raiden Fighters”, they just went with it due to name recognition). Raiden games have always been one ship (well, I suppose 4 technically has 3, but you gotta buy the other two, they were never in the arcade version though) with the rotating weapon pickup system. Not that you can’t prefer one over the other, but I wouldn’t go into Raiden 4 expecting anything from the Fighters games.
I’m hoping for a disc release, but we’ll see. I fucking hate download-only games. But however it gets released here, I’ll buy it.

…I didn’t play that beforehand. Fighters Aces blew my shit out. I don’t know even know what the exit point was or even what the ‘shit’ was either but it was blown man. It was blown. So I straight up do not like Raiden IV and I sigh or roll my eyes whenever I see it in my my game binder. Aces is one of those games that makes you feel like you are KICKING ASS. Probably due to that soundtrack that turns my penis into a drill, makes my knuckles white on my brown skin, and grows a booster rocket out of my ass hole.
I mean I really enjoyed Deathsmiles but dude, WHY CAN’T WE GET SOME DODONPACHI!?

1cc’d the first loop of Batsugun with 3.9mil. Felling pretty good about it. Tried the second loop and got to around 4.3mil and lost. Does it count as a 1cc if you beat just the first loop? Does the normal version loop? I have only played the special version.

You playing Black Label? What stage are you at? How far are you getting with chaining?
Im on the third stage trying to chain to the mid-boss but it is incredibly difficult (for me at least!)
And yeah I am playing Black Label, I know how to chain the first two stages so far but I am terrible when it comes time to do a full run lol.
I got a 167 mil ALL score in DOJ:BL before I put it down. But honestly, I would only get the full stage 2 chain once every 20 runs or so. Stage 1 was locked down, Stage 3 was maybe chain both halves, Stage 4 was pieces and Stage 5 was straight survival.
If you’re going for high score I’d encourage you to just try to stabilize Stage 3 and then try to get points on Stage 4, where the chains are easier to get.
