Anyway I finally beat it a few days ago. As soon as the game gets to the non-iphone levels it gets much more challenging. I have to say that that itās still better on the iPhone because of the speed of your finger versus an analog stick/d-pad and more vertical space. I do like the exclusive ships however and the field ship is just down right fierce but not entirely broken.

Hey, I own both the iPhone and PS3 versions of IG (including the Darius iPhone DLC). Although I havenāt beaten the PS3 version yet - been slacking on getting shot.
Also, on a random note, does anyone else remember the PS2 shooter Homura?
Heh. That was a first day buy for me. Yeah, that Field weapon just plain makes bosses bow down.

A: One good shot is usually all you need. 
That damn search weapon bugs though. If you havenāt powered it up, damn thing canāt hit anything faster than that fatass mothership. Still, the power level is good even at low-levels.
Hmmm. I looked it up(Homura that is), but it doesnāt look familiar at all. I wonder if we will be blessed enough to get it as a DLC?
@Dev: Hey dude, I downloaded the game you put together, but this computer and the other one are being cockstains about letting me play it. I think this Christmas Iām getting a laptop from Alienware and this hunk of slo-motion sickness will be getting shot and thrown down the stairs. Man Vanquish is a totally a shmup. Itās nuts. Bullets flyin all over the place, sweaty palms and beating hearts. Games intense. I been gettin shot all over the place.

Itās good to know that anything from XBLA Japan should have a very high chance to be on general XBLA because I didnāt realize Guwange is coming out so early since I believe that Mushihime-Sama Futari Platinum Edition is coming out around the same time as well.
I just got KOF Sky Stageā¦I dunno, to me, I think it has been designed very badly in terms of player and enemy bullets being very identical. Anyone have any tips? I know I should be taking advantage of the special attacks that recharge over time but preference wise, I do like using Kula the most but her āshieldā move is level 2 I believe.
I was hoping for Otomedius Excellent coming out this month but unfortunately I guess itās true that itās been pushed back to January 2011ā¦

I canāt believe Guwange comes out tomorrow, the wait was much shorter than I expected. Looking forward to seeing what the fuss is about.
Picked up Guwange. The game is great, but unfortunately, for some unknown reason, the game forces 16:9 if you play on a 4:3 screen, which means, no fullscreen tate ability on a CRT. Lame. Also, the advanced display options (things like zoom, filter, etc) are buried ridiculously deep in the menu system, and most people will likely never find them.
That said, the game is fantastic and everything Iād expect and more from Cave.

(Yeah. For any parents who are scratching bald spots in their heads while reading this over their kidās shoulders, those nine letters are indeed a complete sentence. :looney: )

Ya know, real talk, Iāve bought every single Cave release this year (and will buy the last one next week) and Iām pretty proud to say that. This is the best time since the 16bit days to get shot. God bless the shmup fans!
damn. Iāve come to realize that I have, in fact, NOT played guwange. :wow: it looks and sounded familiar, but I have now realized that I have NEVER played it. I checked some screenshots and itās all greek (Or Japanese) to me. Looks like Iāll have to get down and soon.

^Itās weird. So far I only kind of like it but I only played for like 10 mins. Son is SRK going to have to pitch in and help you get an import 360? You are missing out and it saddens me.

Donāt worry. A 360 is already on my list for Dec. Until then, I can always use MAME to get a fix. I just hope theyāve ironed out some of the issues in X-Box by then. Iām not gonna be happy if I have to pause for the RROD every few stages.
