Just finished Dragon Quest 11 S on Switch, 8.5/10 very solid JRPG I loved 95% of the 120 hours I put into it (there were some points around act 2 which dragged a bit), I just wish it had a stronger emotional core. And more than 1 town theme.

it’s a shame EA is clearly reluctant to refresh all those music licenses for the game, else we’d see a remaster by now. And the IP probably belongs to them too so even despite Double Fine having Microsoft as a financial backbone we’re never going to see a Brutal Legend 2

Not only drugs but they got busted for firearms.
It’s crazy I use to play ball with these dudes growing up, Now they serving time.

I’m glad I’m too smart or pussy depending on how you look at it to sell drugs. A very close friend got like 6 years in highschool. And damn near all my cousins have done it in some capacity. The fast money is cool but there’s way too many cons.

About the Dying Fetus song, I think they didn’t record in the best studio, and I would have liked it to sound better. There are re-releases now but the first versions had a more grainy sound. I just raised the volume louder to get it all in.
Dying Fetus doesn’t play senseless stuff just to show they are technically impressive, their brutality is carefully crafted with their technical aspects of they are known for: brutal riffs, breakdowns, and speed. But we’ll come back to them later. You’ll come around, oh yes
Have you heard of Walls of Jericho? It’s a “core” band. I discovered them in the early 2000’s. They played a mix of hardcore/thrash metal. I thought the girl singing was pretty good
This one is, I believe, some UK hardcore. I found out about them after Danzig got punched lol
The second half is pretty cool with the chorus “you’re still an asshole” lol

Heh, I remember the music being one of the few flaws. Overall, Dragon Quest 11 is a great game. Lately I’ve been considering a second playthrough.

Jeah I finished it last chrismas. I really liked it. That was the first big ol’ jrpg I really played since Persona 5 in 2017 so it was nice to get in the groove of a solid turn based rpg.
Honestly I loved the characters, my only gripe was every goddamn boss having an obnoxious status effect that they seem to cast every other turn that ignores any resistances you have.
“So and so boss cast dance till you’re dead! Your team can’t stop dancing!”
“So and so boss turned you into a snowman!”
“So and so boss ate your healer!”

Yeah that’s how it was. Raided by the state and the feds for drugs and they got some guns too. Looked at the mugshots and it must’ve been 20+ people busted.
I didn’t really know them for real but the one I’d seen around since like 6th grade (he was a dick tbh).
It’s crazy seeing where people end up. You have the regular stuff like people having kids or going off to college. Then there are the sad stories. Another guy I knew since middle school got killed like a year or two after graduation. I saw another guy I took auto tech with years later and apparently he did like 5 years on drug charges. Hardcore dudes do time or just live the life and you see them years later and they’re really religious.
It’s a scary world out there. I remember when were all just dumb kids and life is smacking all of us just like the teachers said. 
Can’t say I’m where people thought I’d end up either.

I remember in HS a teacher was telling us how if you incorporate time lost from jail and stuff drug dealing ends up being less than minimum wage. Sounds like bullshit to me but I’ll admit that it seems like everyone I’ve ever known involved in that shit gets caught up eventually.

Yeah I guess if you’re a low level guy it would equate to minimum wage. But I legit know of people who hustled their way to homes and several cars. And I’m talking about owning not renting several cars I’d never probably afford. But also I’d probably off myself if I got more than a couple months

Real talk tho? Work on real estate. That gets you real money when you’re on a roll, the problem is how inconsistent it can be.
I know realtors that went 6 months without making a deal then made 60k in a month.
