The SFV Lounge: MUTINY!

Oh, i know… I’m sure there’s a Luis Vuitton purse somewhere with her name on it

Weird to come in here with Twitter stuff, but I’ve done my very best to keep my Twitter account anonymous. None of my family, real life friends, coworkers, etc would find me on there, and there are no pictures of me.

Then, last night my childhood best friend was having a hard time with something in Doom Eternal, so i recorded a clip of how i handle it and then uploaded it to my twitter and sent him the link like an idiot… We’re now Twitter friends. I don’t mind though, if anyone I know IRL were to follow me, it should be him, but now I’m worried of the floodgates opening up (ie, his mom following me, my mom following me, all kinds of crap).

Just a dumb move by me.

I guess d3v is around GD every once in a long while, but that’s about it really.

Jin and Pert were the most active ones and they’re gone.

This thread doesn’t usually need intervention, so I’m really not too worried, but we’ll need someone by SF6 because it’ll need a new section.

It’s a slower version of Kolin’s VS1.

You can kinda use it as a poke because his limbs are that short, but really, that move is garbage and you should be picking VS1 for the Anti-VR OS you can do with it.

Too late, torch your Twitter and don’t make a new one.

I honestly feel like i need to torch this one, but i would make a new one, lol.

Edit: damnit, i just remembered i do have a second, more real-life type of account that i never use. I could have downloaded the video and posted it on there. Oh well

I don’t actually play Ryu, nor do I plan to now but thanks. I was just curious about him because I’ve been really enjoying Ken but I play him pretty fireball heavy and that’s Ryu’s thing.

This journey started with Kage, but I couldn’t cope with his pokes and no fireball, so I went to Ken.

Been wondering if I should try Akuma.

I’m secretly a shoto player lol

I could’ve used you last night lol… I was stupid. I was trying to show him a few things, including how to do quick switch combos and my dumb ass told him to watch the clip and I explained how i did it with my hands.

Akuma is the best shoto, really. I’ve bounced between all of them and compared various things and Akuma is practically the winner in nearly every category.

Ken isn’t the same as he is in 3S. He has a lot of similar animations and normals, but his EX fireballs don’t knock down (outside of VT1) and his buttons aren’t as good.

Also, i feel like he really struggles without a 3 frame normal, which i don’t understand why he doesn’t have one. It’s not like he’d suddenly be top tier if he did.

His 3f jab is trade mashed light DP into CA

It’s true. I found my DP usage with Ken shot up 400%, and i’m not even joking.

He is fun, but when i was trying to play him seriously, i was trying to play him like his 3S counterpart, which would just annoy me because he’s not that at all. Cammy is a better 3S Ken, than SFV Ken is. She’s just missing the overhead into super link.
