Well, yeah. You can’t do above 60 FPS on a 60Hz monitor because you’ll just get constant screen tearing and shit. Its a big issue with my TV at home.
There’s definitely some perceivable difference after 60 frames, but the closer you get to 120 the less pronounced that difference becomes.
I honestly have 0 desire to run any of my games past 60 frames. That alone looks superb in any game. 4K is overrated at this point and time, and 8K is a buzzword.
I honestly expect some games to straight up be SEX-only. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
The whole weaker console thing just never works out in the long run, it’ll either suffer on FPS, Resolution (duh) or just won’t work and will be a mess.
I mean , i can’t really see a difference if the frame rate is above 60. Also if i switch between 60hz / 120 / 144 and so on i do see a difference in smoothness, specifically lower blur on fast moving scenes.
Thing is, as long as it plays 55 frames + with no screen tear all is good in my book overall.Games usually so fast paced you don’t notice a slight frame drop.
You guys ever have one of those days where you get up don’t know what to do with you free time you’ve been waiting for?
Usually I play Apex on these days but I think I’m getting tired of that. Didn’t really want to play the games I have, and I’m trying not to burn through The Sopranos too fast.
Yeah, I agree. Everything after X has been garbage (even though I personally wasn’t a huge fan of IX and X either) and XVI doesn’t seem to be breaking that tradition. I’ll still buy it though, and then get angry at how much it sucks.
It’s a given that I get every FF. I agree, there’s a big chance it might not be good… but I am glad they went back to a medieval setting to differentiate from FF Remake. I assume part 2 is coming out next year.
I’m curious to see what developers can do with the RTX 3090, specs look absolutely insane. Anyone here a trust fund baby / bank robber and buying that thing?
