I’ve listened to both songs back to back and they don’t sound the same at all to me.
That said Tom Petty > Sam Smith.
I caught it on the first listen. Somebody thought it was pretty bad because they hit up Tom Petty with a check with the quickness.

VII and VIII ruined me, after those two games every other JRPG, including future FFs, just seemed bland to me.

My mom’s in hospice care already. She aint long for this world.
She is entering this endgame of the diseases where she has a terrible attitude at times. It aint a great experience.
