The SFV Lounge: MUTINY!

As far as I can tell, unlike the Xbox series, you don’t lose anything if you go with the 400 dollar PS5 except the disc drive . Could be wrong though.

SF 6 being PS 5 exclusive is the only reason i would consider buying the console and that if it has Juri.

Not even joking.

Seriously doubt Capcom will make it Sony exclusive this generation though but you never know.

Wait, what?

What does the Digital-only version of the SEX loses?

I’m buying that shit day Juan. :weary:

Lower performance, upscaled 1440p, wack storage too.

Digital PS5 shits all over the digital Xbox.

No disc drive and future proof next gen tech at 400$. Sony won that harddd.

Digital PS5 is actually a good pick up at that price.

What does this mean? How is a console future proof when they’ll have their hand out again in another 5 years

The Xbox digital isn’t next gen basically. The PS5 digital is.

You’re getting the best performance on one and not the other going forward.

Future proof till the next next gen I guess.

That’s a lotta damage!

Less storage on an all digital console is a “ehhhh” from me

Comparison:

512GB on a purely digital console just ain’t the play.

4k and 8k

That sounds so hilarious to me. What are these crazy resolutions lol.

I hope they mean that they support the image on 4k and 8k screens cause there is no way in hell those things with those specs will be playing anything smoothly on those crazy ass resolutions.

Support as in some upscale with AA , CMMA tricks and so on to fool the eye , not the actual resolution itself.

IIRC the only difference between the standard and digital PS5 is the disc drive. Everything else is identical.

Truth be told idek what 4K and 8k is. It is like the new “high def” shit? At this point it’s all big numbers to me…I actually don’t know.

Also I thought the human eye couldn’t see any changes above 60 FPS?

If I remember right, DMC4SE had 120FPS support and it’s very noticeable.

Yeah, the lolBox SeS is the outlier there. Compared to the rest it really looks last gen.

Above 60fps i don’t really see a difference but above 60hz refresh rate on monitor i do see it.

I currently play games on a 2K screen and literally have no desire to go for a higher res. It just looks really crisp and good.

1080p/60FPS is enough for me tbh.

I don’t get this graphics boner.

It’s the standard setup.

Did it’s job, and still does to this day.

I just happen to own a 2k monitor with a higher refresh rate. I did buy it for the higher refresh rate but it was a 2K screen so that’s that.

Nothing wrong with full HD , just don’t use anything bigger than 27 inch screen imo.
