In 2007 it seeems anyway, anyone play on Japanese 360 network?

You shouldn’t take the game so serious, dude! I mean, why all the blood around the machine? Scrubs mad at tick-throws?

Last time I logged on to play, all I came in contact with were japanese, it’s kinda interesting.

A lot of people died when they tried to shoryuken me in real life. Nah hahaha thats the paint on my concrete floor peeling up. It’s really old. Nice soft carpet is down now.

Also I got the correct control panel but it’s too wide for the machine :frowning: so its either I trim the control panel or mod the cab. I’m probably gonna trim the control panel. Still waiting on the LL parts tho :-\

I want to get on Supercade but don’t know how. I signed up at damdai.com/supercade but that’s as far as I’ve got and I’m not even positive that I’m in the right place at all. Any help will be appreciated. I’ll be on a lot so you’ll all have another person to fight, if that’s any incentive to help me.

Did you download the actual Supercade program?

No lol. I must sound like an idiot. I googled it and I looked around Damdai’s site but couldn’t find any leads. You know where I need to go? Thanks.

There’s a download link to the right, click it, run the install, and there you go!

Now since you’ve signed up for a login name, just use that login and pword to get into supercade.

Now as for the roms. LEGALLY I’m obligated to say that you must own an original ST board in order to be allowed to have a rom for it. However, if one were to google the names of the roms that you would need to play the game, then one might just happen upon a .zip file that they could download and install in order to play the game. But of course this is piracy.

Thanks eltrouble. I actually own two original HF boards and one CE board and I think I’ll be playing HF almost exclusively, maybe a bit of CE here and there so I think I’m actually legal here : ) I downloaded the SC3 P2P matchmaker but I don’t think that works without the actual ROM which I don’t have or know how to get. What’s the next step? Thanks.

I have an arcade stick and the drivers already installed so this should be a lot of fun once I’m able to get going.

If you attempt to join the lobby, it should be telling you that you’re missing the ROMs for the guy, and then give you a name for it. Should be something like sf2.zip or something like that, don’t quote me, double check it. Then just google up the roms, go searching for it, and you should find it.

You could also try your luck at playing HF on Supercade. I hear New Zealand has some pretty good players, and OG Jeff Schaefer is playing on there currently as well.

eltrouble, thanks for your help. Unfortunately I’m so bad with computers that I still haven’t figured it out despite your help. Any chance someone could give me a link to the exact rom people are using? (private pm?) I also don’t know how to unzip a file. Sorry for being a drag. I will play a lot though if I can get it working and be one more active person in the HF community. Thanks.

Got it figured out. Thanks for your help eltrouble.

The legendary Tomo Ohira makes an appearance against NZ’s own BLADE_ from the DTR Crew. Get Hype!

after watching these matches, i still prefer rainbow edition over HF. hf is unbalanced anyway so why not just go all the way and throw 20 sonic booms and walk into them like your own hoplite armor? and then press 1p switch to ryu and do some all you can’s.

HF is unbalanced? LOL. More than half of the roster is competitive at tournaments, and requires true skill to play. You somehow think the ability to throw 20 sonic booms without charge is balanced? Nice troll post, go back to your ADD new-age fighting games with built-in comeback factors.

HF is the best balanced CPS1 fighter.

Dictator’s hitboxes/frame data done. This one took longer than I expected for many reasons, hopefully I can get them out a little faster in future. Needs more wordage (explanation) around the moves, and some fact/strat checking on the text that was already there, but that’s not my current mission :stuck_out_tongue:

Finaly Sheng Long surfaces!!

Awsome stuff again, finally getting HF info organised and recorded as a real community resource. Real nice work.
