I’ve always heard Vega beats guile, and I still believe it however I’ve never been good with that matchup ever, especially against good guiles.
ST is a different story but in HF, when I play vega or bison against a really good guile, i get locked the fuck down.
I think Jason Nelson proved at evo 2006 guile>bison (I think he played ce guile vs ce or ST bison though).
In HF, anything goes. This is why its the best SF ever!
Hey guys… I used to play HF back in the day, and still fool around with emulators now and then. Do many people play on Xbox360? Would it be worth getting an Xbox to play?

Yeah, there’s a decent number of people that play on the 360. It has the standard lag problems of playing online and the connection code is a bit buggy. But it’s still good fun. I don’t know if I’d recommend buying an XBox just to play this, but HD Remix is coming out soon and I’m sure SF4 will be on it. So yeah, I’d say go for it!
There’s practically no reason to play HF on XBL when you can play it on the PC with nFBA. XBL HF’s lag is fucking atrocious while nFBA’s is about as perfect as you’re going to get.
Can you do Xbox live with the old Xbox or do you have to have one of the new ones?

nFBA is really gonna give things a boost. Correct speed netplay that I’ve already used to play between the UK and west coast USA with no lag!!!

the secret to not losing against guile with vega is to not block sonic booms.
Either that or the obvious to block it as little as possible, I would rather slide on Guile take a hit from the SB then block it, simply because although we’ll trade hits, Guile gets knocked on his ass, and Claw can gain the initiative. You’ve got to harass Guile so that he becomes afraid to throw out SB’s.

I second that, I played HF on live once and HATED it. Went to p2p and aint went back since. I wanted the orginaztion that live offers but it sucks. Looking forward to playing you guys.

So HF on nFBA plays at the correct speed, not on crack like it does on MAME.64? I’ll have to try it, I already use nFBA to play ST. I’ll be around #srkkalliera, name madpossum.

After not playing my 360 for months n then having it break AGAIN the minute i turn it on I recently got it back from repairs so anyone who wants some HF matches hit me up tonight, i’m maaaaaad rusty.

Actually, I will have to admit that playing hyper on nfba is pretty damn good. I’ve gotten some really smooth games hardwired to the computer.
