I used to play in Sac way back in the day (Birdcage/Folsom Gameroom era). Don’t really recognize anyone on this thread anymore, but would like to get some SFIV games in against Sac heads. Hit me up on XBL: neilsix.

About three people and myself would be interested in a tourney in sac. Get this together and we’ll be there.
I could make saturdays during the day. Seriously, i know they’re a good number of people in Sac that play but everyone is on a different schedule that no one can get together. This is a good idea to get everyone on the same page finally.
I’ve got myself and one other dedicated player who are down for weekly SFIV.
The one thing is, we both live up here in Fair Oaks, and I’m not really down to drive to west sac, or elk grove every week for games. I don’t mind hosting at my place, it’s small, but I have a decent sized TV, and the game on PS3, so you can bring your stick.
Anyone else in the Fair Oaks/Citrus Heights/Folsom area interested in playing?

DaWhiteShadow, i’ll keep you posted then on whats going on, but please keep checking back in here every now and then to see whats up. I’ll try to announce something about two weeks to a month in advance so it’ll be plenty of time for everyone to know.
The Orochi, i’ll add your name to the list, and i remember you posting before. Sorry things have been taking so long to get back to the way they were, i just haven’t had much luck on my job search/gettin a car (if i had one or the other i’d be set) and finding places that will let us do this type of things was fairly difficult.
Rave, aye brotha, if i am willing to take light rail to your location (on top of the bus @_@) at least make it down here every now and then since you can drive 
But hey, give me a time and date and i got me and another friend who can come and play with yall. We got our own sticks, but no converters (both use pad on our own respective consoles). Just PM when you wanna get some games in, i’ll even bring over some other games if you want, just name w/e :wgrin:

3.) doogo530 (weekends)
4.) The Orochi (saturdays)
Seems like saturdays at my house are going to be the thing from the looks of this (gonna have to get mvcjunky to take a saturday off lol) :o
Anyone else possibly interested, let me know along with the days of the week. Gonna be running shit at my house, i also updated the first post (you can check the previous page too) with some news. Hopefully we can get tournies going once a month or so at this restaurant i know.
Also something unrelated but eh, might as well. I MIGHT HAVE A JOB BY THE END OF THIS WEEK

Chris - I’ll be moving into a house within 2 weeks and WILL have gatherings at my place regularly. It’s got a living room and a family room so there’s plenty of space to run stuff, so get with Mikel and try to come down regularly with him.

Although Mikel lives a good distance away from me so i’m not sure if going out with him is an option (i might be in the opposite direction). Even though i’m moving houses pretty soon myself, i’ll still be in the same south sac area. What the heck games you play now anyways? Seems to me everytime we get together your always playing something new :razz:

ah nice Jiang, sounds like a good time. I’ve been trying to learn Axl, he seems easy enough, just got to get used to doing the combos in full and mastering his FRC’s. Although i hear I-No’s command moves/FRC’s are a pain to learn. Good luck to ya. I would pick her up, but seems like such an uphill battle. You gotta teach me Fate U/C, i still haven’t burned it yet, got it on my computer waiting to be burned.

You were talking about somewhere to meet for tournaments and stuff like that…what location was it?
Fat ducks pizza. Not sure about the street, but its near the dollar store/big lots and kaiser permanente.
Fat Ducks is on Bruceville Road and near Kaiser hospital. I have 4 people including myself that’s interested in some sessions on the weekends too.
I’m interested in attending a sactown tourney, but I can only make it if it’s on the weekend (9-5 job out in Stockton). Depending on how well the first one goes I might be willing to help out on materials…I live 2 miles from "slack"state so I’m down to play SF4 with anyone in the area on the weekends.

Hmmm boy, got some mixes in there. Although majority of you guys are available on weekends, and i got two saturdays so its still looking like things are being run on saturday. Sorry to the two week days guys, i might have some weekday sessions if i get more people interested in coming over for local in-house sessions.

I gotta add you to PSN and see how rape that Sagat is. Been trying to overcome my Viper vs Sagat matchup, and yet to play a decent one to gauge my progress.
