If people want to get on SF4, I think CSUS is going to be the best place for meetups. I havenāt been there in a while, but if they still have the consoles and TVs in the game room, itās the closest thing to an arcade in town.

I am down to play at sac state monday-friday. Iād like to get into SF4 to some extent. I work on campus so I can sneak away 12-5 everyday and play.

UPDATE ON REVIVING SACRA-FUCKING-MENTO:
OK gentlemen I found a spot that is interested in having a throw down for some tournies. Although, there will have to be a vending fee and Iām going to need a lot of players and HELLA FUCKING HYPE RAWR!. Right now I told him its just an idea that I gotta work out, and ima talk to some people who have ran some shit in our area back in the days to see if we can get something big going (gotta check the maximum occupancy of the place again lol). Some possible issues that I can answer right off the batā¦
1.) Parking - There should be a good amount for a big crowd. If not there are enough surrounding places to park, whether its side streets or other shopping centers.
2.) The Neighborhood - Itās not the best place to bring expensive t.v.'s and monitors, but its a place and maybe pay for security (rent a cops with tasers at least). Although iām probably being drastic, but i want the players to be AND feel safe, so thats my issue. This is up for ideas, but ehā¦i dunnoā¦better safe than sorry :o Once again, drastic idea lol for a probably non-existent problem.
3.) TEH GAMEZ! - I myself have guaranteed that Guilty Gear is a constant so long as Iām participating/hosting but aside from that Iām not sure wtf everyone in my area plays. I need much spam of big games that draw crowds, i know SFIV is big right now, so that also has an automatic spot.
4.) The Players - Recently iāve noticed a lot of you guys coming the fuck out of nowhere and as thats awesome, it seems like there is a big number of yall that are unaccounted for. If this gets a real date and plans are in motion, i need every person in the area contacted about this, or at least enough to fill up the space (iāll look back at the place and get a count of how many people i can get in this joint). But i need YOU, the players. Whether you be scrub or pro, just show up and have fun. Especially if your from our area, JOIN US! Come down, meet some people, plays some games. Might meet some kool people youāll be friends with for years (or rivals :3).
5.) Accessories/Systems/T.V.'s - Ok, this is interesting because they got two or three t.v.'s in the joint (one big screen and one small for sure, i think there is another but i forgot). I myself have one t.v. (i wanna say decent size, but yall HDāers are gonna hate it (but yay cuz i play lagless son :D) so i dunno) and i think i got a friend of mine willing to bring another t.v. But if we want more games and faster tourney time + CASUALS!!! we need MOAR t.v.'s/monitors and systems maybe. The sticks and converters are on a BYOS basis (BRING YOUR OWN SHIT), but iāll try to provide the systems/games needed. I need surge protectors/power outlets/extension chords/whatever you wanna call em, if people got em. ALL SUPPORT IS APPRECIATED AND YOU WILL BE WORSHIPPED LIKE A GOD BY ME.
6.) Feeās and entry costs - Okay, this is tricky because in order to play there, there is gonna be a vending fee to use the space. On top of that, for tournies there is the generic five dollar or three dollar fee. Now me, when i went to tournies āas cheap as possibleā sounded hella damn good. I am all about making this cheap for people to come out and play because some of us got some serious traveling (maybe not anytime soon to Sacramento, but this could be big :D) so teh cheaper the better. At the moment i donāt have a job but when i get a decent cash flow going iād like to be able to either pay for the vending fee myself or at least cover it partially (maybe one dollar vending fee for each entrant then i can pay the rest myself cuz thats just what i do :D). Either way, its gotta be paid to use the space. Also, if iām insured more bodies and players guaranteed then i can lower the price to a point where everyone is happy and things still work out.
7.) The Pot (not what you smoke >.>) - Give me some suggested pot numbers, i think the common one was 70/20/10 or something like that. I would love to do prizes or something kool like that but its gonna have to wait till i get a job and these events get bigger.
8.) Shit I have not covered - I know there is so much of it I have not covered due to poor memory, so please fill me in aka get on my ass about it.
ALSO A SMALL GATHERING, I NEED RESPONSES:
I want to have a small get together maybe next week or the week after next but like i said before, if its during the week (monday-friday), yall are welcome to come in and play from 12 PM to bout 10/11-ish PM. I can only get around 8-9 maybe 10 people in at the most. Weekends are good cuz we can game all night because kids donāt have school and parents donāt work but my weekends are random and sometimes busy. So i have to check with parents on that one. But yeah, I want times and days that are good for YOU GUYS so i can get an idea of what day to hold it. I PLAY EVERYTHING (and by saying that i mean my skill level varies (mainly scrub :D)) Lemme know what games we are gonna run so no one is left not playing and wasting their time. I wanna have fun and relax in this fuck shit of an economy that we have here. Also if anyoneās job is hiring let me know cuz iām looking with full availability, part time or full timeā¦seriouslyā¦

I myself have a PS3 copy of SFIV. Although my friend has a 360 version, hell might run on both platforms but i can imagine that to be quite tricky so ermmm gonna have to get back to you on that lol. :wonder: But I would like ps3 as well. Iām wanting to get more responses before i consider/finalize anything.
Iām down to play sometimes on the weekends, next couple of weeks are bad bc of finals though.
