I just picked up my copy of SSF4. Lovin’ Kikosho! One thing though, her crouching LP has been nerfed down to 30dmg on hit… PROFOUND SADNESS

Has anyone posted that you can cross up jumping MK now? I’ve been able to do it on a lot of characters

This isn’t gameplay related, but Chun’s Alt 2, Color 10 has a different appearence, actually looks good IMO. It was shown in the Prima guide’s Chun section, but not in the Unlockables section for whatever reason.

can you check if kikosho does full damage when blocked at first then unblocked by the middle or end

Ah, she looks like she is going to an “Aerobics for New Mothers” class.

b+mk is faster now, it also seems to have an easier time hitting crouchers, but will still whiff crouchers on absolute max range.
Will probably whiff easier on the small characters.

Can someone please post the damage of all her normals

Her damage on her normals is identical to vanilla.
I did some damage tests, keep in mind that damage is much lower across the cast in vanilla.
Ryu’s hp srk x fadc, u1 does 400dmg for example, Sagat’s doom combo does 550dmg now instead of 720.

Hey Vash - I didn’t know you were on PSN – think I tried to join one of your games the other night.

ex sbk deflects it, may not be worth the meter. But useful if they try to kunai crossup. I feel that for some reason links to st.fp are easier.

Yeah her st.lp does 20dmg (30) and c.lp does 30dmg (40).
But a lot of characters have gotten nerfed damage on their jabs/shorts so that’s almost universal.

Maybe my execution is better, but…

Has anyone else noticed that cr.HP xx HK Legs xx MK Legs > cr.HK is easier to hit now? I used to get it maybe 20% of the time, now I’m hitting it close to 80% - I haven’t been practicing it either, which leads me to suspect that at least that part of her frame data has changed.

Also, I think (I THINK - haven’t done extensive testing to confirm) that
cr.HP xx HK Legs xx MK Legs > cr.HP xx MK SBK
now fully combos. I know for sure that it works on Hakan, but haven’t tried anyone else. It might just be a hitbox thing.

I think c.hp x hk legs, mk legs, c.hk feels the same.
The c.hp x mk sbk ender is the same as always, still doesn’t work on the characters it didn’t in vanilla, such as Ryu.

Finally tried the game for a couple hours. Could be the controller, but I had a hard time doing dash Housenka and dash EX Hyakurestsukyaku (Legs). Is the timing different?

Also, what is an “easy” way to enter dash Hyakuretsukyaku? Is there any kind of buffering preferred for the kicks input?

during the dash hit short then piano roundhouse to short then press short + forward. Should come out. All this stuff can be found in the combo thread btw.

Baiting with Backdash into EX Legs into Hosenka is godlike. It barely just has enough reach to mess with them on wake up. If they decide to hit a button, they eat a minimally scaled Ultra 2. I love it.
