Are M4 screws too big for the honeycomb? Not comfortable with my PS360+ just sitting unmounted in my Atrox. Also, what can I use to make a rectangular hole in the case to mount my DPDT rocker switch on the outside?

hey guys just wondering how i would go about putting a new usb connecter into my atrox 360 since my cable has stuffed up. i saw a few posts earlier that putting something onto the alternate 4 pin thingy would work and was wondering if something like thiswould work or would i need to buy the idc then the wire and do it all myself. still really new to this as this is my first stick ive ever got (was only $99 so was a steal) and i have next to no clue as to what im doing
I would read though the whole thread, I think someone put a new USB connector in their Razor stick.

Too many of the people who entered the Beta test program with me reported the case broke. Sometimes just sitting there in storage not even being used.
Cases include the gas strut breaking free from it’s plastic anchors, another person said their beta Razer stick had the hinges break off.
Its a shame too as when the stick was new I gave it glowing reviews, now down the line the stick will fall apart on its own.
Well i bought a used one recently, having only read the positives in the buying advice thread, so if theres any problems with the case it would probably be better to mention them there.
Btw were these issues only reported with the beta units or the retail ones aswell?

Because at first they were great, we (us “pro” modders) were all excited how easy it was to access. Anything that makes the job easier for us is always a plus.
Now, not so much as some of our Atrox fell apart on us. I don’t know if its all of them or only units from certain assembly lines. Razer was never really known for quality any ways.
Their are build quality issues on both the Beta and Retail versions of the stick, ether something when wrong with their QC or they used cheap plastics.
I only handled the Beta version hence my review was based on that Beta review version of the stick.
I just bought one during the sale. Are there any good preventative measures that can be taken to reinforce the case?

Make a return for a full refund.
I’ve read must of stories in here about the case breaking, but I have never had that problem, I’m still rocking my 360 atrox and I bought it when they came out for sale. I can confirm that the USB cable is horrible but, fixing it it’s very easy.
Lol at the hate against this product, i’ve had mine for 2 years and it’s still good.
I’ve had my original beta version for god knows how long, the only problem I’ve had with it is the front of the case-lock button falling off… and that was fixed with a dab of glue.
I can excuse a bad PCB or bad buttons and joystick. I can easily swap those out.
But when the housing it self breaks on you with little to no handling is when the whole thing fails.
We have people with major structural failure of the Razer stick case.
