You mean the quick disconnects? Just carefully use some pliers or a thin screwdriver. If you mean the buttons, there are small plastic tabs (2 per button) that you have to press so you can take the buttons off. Keep in mind that they are easy to break, so be careful.
I bought 2 of these big boys a months ago, strong like hell, just perfect! I can say that is by far the best stick Iāve ever had (and Iāve had many)
I have only one advice for Razer, seize the screwdriver because in one of the sticks it brokes loose and struck the pcb case! luckily the pcb is well protected!
So mine is the beta stick, but has anyone else had their bracket that holds the hydraulic arm break? The little plastic bits that held the arm on just snapped off.
I havenāt used it for months it was in the box on a shelf and I just opened it up to use it and when I opened the lid to get the cable it popped and there were plastic bits all over.
Well, now we know why they took those out and just simply used the same laptop hinges that MadCatz uses for the TE2 in the USFIV and XBox One versions.
Not happened to me yet, but⦠it looks like you could fix it with some JB Weld or similar. It wonāt be pretty, and be careful about how you prepare the plastic.
Hi! Any ideas where I can get any usb cable for the razor atrox? since mine broke yesterday :\ Why Razor doesnt put a standard usb instead of that one? any tips? I was thinking in dual mod, since maybe I“ve got to change the usb conector!
Got in touch with Jakob (who posted the diagrams to the Atrox for 360), and he pointed me to Razer to see if theyād be willing to provide us similar information on the Atrox for Xbox One. Here is the response I got:
So fuck the Atrox for XB1, I guess. Might as well just buy a TE2 instead.
Itās surprising to me because it represents a complete about-face given how closely they worked with everyone during the Atrox beta, and later on the final product. We didnāt get those diagrams by accident. Iāve made similar inquiries in the past, and gotten positive feedback from both MadCatz and Qanba/Eightarc.
Iām basically just trying to sort out the best way to run a PS360+ into the Atrox XB1. And given the lack of comparative documentation (both from Razer directly, and the low amount of people who have that stick), I figured it was worth getting in touch with them. Clearly my enthusiasm was misplaced.
The Atrox Beta was very much a unique project which was executed in a particular way, but it seemed clear that we would only get that type of documented support until the release of the 360 Atrox. I donāt think MadCatz or Hori have ever openly provided us with official documentation of their pcbās, that has always been left to community members.
The Xbone Atrox is common ground and seems similar to their 360 pcb design so try treating it in the same way. How you connect the PS360+ to the Xbone pcb is up to you, but Iād suggest using the 20pin ribbon cable extension and an IMPv2 board to act as the switch.
