Hey, think of it like this. Most Guile’s will have NO problem laming YOU out, so make them pay for it. Other than maybe…Dhalsim, Rose is the only one that can force Guile to come to her.
Yeah, deffo. I was watching, atm, in GC 9, Arturo vs Dieminion…and that was some intense match! I really got the ideia of what i must do in that matchup. Gr8 stuff really!

I had some really awesome matches with a Guile player today (AEROPLANE_) and yes, when I get impatient, I usually lose… Lame, lame, lame it out. 
Rufus and Blanka are really painful to beat. Good ones kick my ass all day. (even with U2 godlike ultra)
you should try using illusion spark instead of soul satellite in those matchups
here on the Blanka matchup. Look above on some Rufus tips.
Don’t be afraid of Blanka’s U2 at all. You never have a reason to use U2 on Blanka since U1 punishes most of his nonsense.
-If Blanka decides to do anti-ground U2 from full screen, just hold u/f during the freeze and U1 when you hit the ground.
-If he does a anti-ground U2 in your face, just do U1. You can actually do U1 once blanka flips in the air before the first slam IIRC so you won’t be forced to jump. Hit up practice and test it out as it’s bee awhile since i’ve even fought a U2 blanka.
-Any time i’ve really seen anti-Air U2 is whenever someone jump on Blanka’s wakeup. So just pay attention to meter and safe jump (or jump a bit out of his range) to bait it. if you have meter, punish with U1.
kinda wish Robin would update some of the first post. at least Rose’s bad matchups that are constantly asked. Even i’m getting a bit annoyed referring people to the saqs bit on blanka.
I might consider switching to Guile especially to beat Cammy. This matchup is IMPOSSIBLE.
Ahead of you. Recently started using Guile as my secondary to cover abysmal matchups…too bad I’m mediocre with charge characters…
I’d pick Boxer over Guile in this matchup if you really needed too. Guile has a tougher time waking up. And when Cammy has ex she can simply go through sonic booms with ex spiral arrow which takes Guile out of his game. My opinion of course :wgrin:
uh…Cammy walks over Guile too from what I understand…
Is the Rose vs. Cammy match-up really that bad for her? Maybe it’s a different story if you face those that use TKCS and rushdown all the time.
I think I can deal with the Cammy stuff, but I’m gonna switch up to fight Rufus…with ironically Cammy lol. She was my original second and I feel more comfortable playing her than Ryu.
Dunno how the matchup is, but its the worst for me. I’ll try everychar in the cast lol.
I know looking at a tier list may or may not help in terms of finding match-up advantages/disavantages, but it seems that Cammy has a 6-4 disadvantage against Bison, Balrog, and E.Honda. She has a 5.5-4.5 disadvantage against Zangief.
id say bison =], doesnt require much to get good with him.

i’m too lazy to learn someone else just to counterpick. But maybe that’s cause I can still be boring and play vanilla boxer.
ok, i also have trouble with the guile match. i understand not jumping and using lots of reflect which works fine for a little while, but then i always seem to get pushed into the corner where he slowly pokes me to death. he just recovers so fast that even if i reflect some booms he can still walk forward some while i’m doing it and then block them, pushing me straight to the corner. and his normals are so good that he outpokes me if i try a footsie fight (probably just due to my relative inexperience with the matchup though). anything specific i should be doing to not get cornered?
Mixup Reflects and Sparks so he can’t walk in for free. If you do reflect all day, he’s just going to throw a LP Boom and walk up. So make a point to put the problem of Sparks and EX Sparks out there so he can’t just walk in.
same i use boxer for rufus, cammy and good seths. lately i’ve been having trouble with keepin abels off me with rose it’s getting kinda rediculous. anyone have suggestions.
