Thanks James. To go into a bit more detail. I’m still having trouble consistently doing this, mostly because I was drained tired when I found it, but I did manage to get three reps to the corner, almost full screen, before I started doing the corner infinite as well so I know it works. The time is a slight bitch though because you have to let the drop in such a way that they look lower than you but you have to time your adf :h: in such a way that you don’t dash under them, you don’t drop them, and you still have enough time to get your add/addf :h: in for the rejump. Working on consistency at the moment
Maybe someone can help me with this. After a side TAC Storm can cross up with an addf xx LS but how can I follow up afterwards to bring them lower to the ground before I use my flight? Storm unfortunately has a horrible flight mode in the sense that if you dash and whiff a move she keeps the momentum of the dash which is really what’s fucking up everything plus the fact her flight is slow to start up. I’m going to find ways to get this infinite on different directions.
Is anyone still messing with, or still concerned with the infinite?
Idk I heard they were taking them out?
[S]That won’t be for a while[/S]
Correction. Apparently Nitsuma came out and said they aren’t patching the infinites. So with that being said I should get back to working on other directions. So far I have a midscreen starter variant for down TAC and trying to work out the kinks for the corner side TAC as well. I have it but it’s not as consistent as I’d like.
I actually love the way TAC infinites work. There’s already a built in IPS thanks to the ability to counter TACs and that means going for an infinite vs. a reset takes on a whole new meaning in the meta game.
It also means we can keep working on viable combos and reset setups with Storm that aren’t TAC dependent. n_n
What is the optimal BnB for Storm? I tried looking at the front page of the thread but it seems like a jumble of things.
Who’s on your team? I ask this because Storm has meter building combos and I’m starting to feel her BnB combos really depend on the assist she has so she can build meter. That’s my opinion though.
Good thing I checked this thread tonight because I was assuming that someone would have quoted my post. Anyways, the team is Haggar (Assist depends)/Storm (Whirlwind)/Dr. Doom (Beam). The reason why I say Haggar assists depends on which one will benefit the team more
I believe Storm has combo with lariat that lets you get fly loops as well. In my opinion all Storm’s good BnB combos will involve an assist that can get her meter, that’s easily arguable though. I’ll test it later tonight and I’ll report back tomorrow I need to sleep now.
What is the combo that Justin Wong and Fanatiq use for Storm when the other guy gets hit by the Akuma/Sentinel assist?
Alright Mankat with Storm Haggar you can do
c:l: c:m: c:h: jc
:h: s:m: c:h: plus lariat :s: xx fly [f:h: adf :h: add]x4 f:s: hailstorm.
That’s the easiest one I could think of using Haggar all the other ones require some jump canceling and timing on lightning spheres ect

Alright storm junkies i need some help with a combo, trying to figure out how to convert off of storm+ammy THC like marlin pie does with doom+ammy
i know you have time to tri dash over and do a light typhoon, but i dont know how to do anything off of that - i tried flying then doing the little air dash series and i got it like once but was hoping you guys might have a better idea
Hmm I wouldn’t figure there there being enough time to combo with Storm being in hailstorm and ammy knocking them down with the last part of okami shuffle.

yeah its really tight but you can do it, basically you need to dash fast enough to be next to them while the lightning is hitting them and start charging typhoon then - by the time its done charging they got knocked down by ammy and the super is over, then typhoon goes off
Hmm interesting but wouldn’t most the hit stun be ate up from the hailstorm? I’ve had problems with continuing combos after two raw supers connect so I would assume you wouldn’t get much. That’s just I my experience though I could be wrong since I haven’t tried to combo after THC’s let alone with Ammy. Would be interesting if you can.

yeah the hitstun is bad enough that you cant simply do typhoon->hailstorm again so i dont know how much is possible but thats why im crowdsourcing the SRK forums lol
EDIT: actually im wrong you do have enough time to do typhoon->hailstorm, problem was my third character in the mix caused too much hitstun, but i killed them off with the dummies and it worked then
its like 700k with mashing but thats so not worth it off of 3 meters…
at the very least you can do a storm combo, land then THC, then typhoon and hailstorm again - thats like 900k for 3 bar…
or if you have to kill thor you can storm combo, THC, Xfactor, hailstorm, typhoon, hailstorm (sure its 4 meter but its 1.4 million dmg)
That’s all assuming one character is dead already unless you know of a way to build that extra meter to get the third bar after using the THC

well i play x23/storm/ammy so im either gunna have bar from x23 or x23 will be dead and ill use the bar i gained from her
No what I meant was for the thc to work how you’re describing one character must be dead or all three bars will burn o the thc. What I was saying for you to finish with even double typhoon into hailstorm how would you properly get that meter?
