We’re living in the gig economy, and I’ve watched grown-men jockey for FREE positions to moderate popular gaming forums when those were still a thing. They even have janitorial staff on Mongolian basket weaving forums. You can’t tell me Twitter couldn’t subcontract moderation per region out to a trusted group of contractors for a nominal fee.

I 100% agree that any of that being on Twitter is wrong and anyone engaging in the distribution of it should be banned and reported to the police. However:
The one on Bitchute only took 90 seconds before it started equating Twitter not banning these sickos to them banning trump and how they’re evil leftist pedophiles. The other one from youtube took the same amount of time.
The New York Post article that he eventually posted makes no mention of anyone else on twitter that was banned for whatever reason. It plainly outlines the suit that the family of the kid that had materials on Twitter passed around is filing.
It didn’t bring up President Trump, Milo, or any conservative or right wing user that had their accounts banned for whatever reason.
He wanted to make it about twitter’s politics, he wasn’t trying to bring up the point that they’re fucking up with this. He wanted to make people that supported Trumps ban on MS feel shitty because they do.
If he wants to do that shit, he needs to do it here. MS is not the place to do that and misterbee has explicitly said that.

I did scrub the list of pardons, and was pleased to see he also pardoned a number of civilians incarcerated for drug possession charges and other things. Not excusing him being a diarrhea blasting volcanic sphincter, but some people did make out alright that weren’t total ass-hats.
And y’know, Little Wayne may be safe from the law; but he better be careful falling asleep around Jigglypuff this time around.
I don’t know enough about Lil Wayne’s case in the first place.
But when the vast majority of the pardons went to Trumpo loyalist who ether went to jail for corruption and fraud or straight up war criminals where pardoning them was a violation of international law. Someone like Lil Wayne was done as a distraction rather than to do anything else. Alot of the corruption pardons are people who can help or bail trump out of future financial troubles.
I doubt its for street cred, Trump never cared for those opinions.

They have admins in place for this purpose. If you have to go to a third party to deal with issues on their platform, then their moderation is about as effective as Parler’s.

Imo it’s about priorities. There are people telling them, “This is where kiddie pron exists on your platform” and yet they have no sort of special exceptions or whatnot to get those complaints to actual people? Frankly it always strikes me as weird that Twitter even allows porn. Not because I have anything at all against porn, but Twitter seems like it really tries to be friendly to main stream businesses.
Twitter aside, one of the arguments for regulating cryptocurrencies is that financial controls are one of the tools law enforcement uses against organized crime and semi-organized crime like child porn rings. Can’t really freeze anyone’s bitcoin transactions.

That’s a good point. Visa and other payment services stopped working with PornHub after accusations of not cracking down on child porn. Eventually PornHub gave in started doing more about it. Google and Apple can remove the Twitter app from their stores like they did with Parler. Bet that’ll make Twitter fall in line.

I will agree that ever since the Boomer in Chief used Twitter to “own the libs” and got more boomers and conservatives to pay attention to it, they are shocked to discover a profit based leftward bent toward it and other social media’s moderation.
