Sounds to me like all it’ll accomplish is making someone’s job harder, but I don’t really know the context for it so I can’t say for sure.
But again, this is the democratic party, and they generally care more about optics and symbolic gestures that do nothing than actually helping the electorate. At least the Republicans are generally up front about being shitty.

In my 36 years I can’t think of a single republican policy that benefitted me or my immediate family.
Was born to poor parents in 84 that never got any cash trickling down, lived through gas being over $4/gallon and the great recession,my taxes actually went up under Trump’s tax plan…etc…

I agree that it doesn’t make anything better, but to me it seems worse to do things to that are just lip service that don’t really make much of a difference and act like you’re doing something than to do nothing at all. May just be me though.
I’ve been in a registered Independent for over 20 years, I don’t really have a dog in the he Dem vs Rep fight. But I’m sure you’d be able to find Republican policies that have helped you and your family, but probably not many/any in the past four years.

Healthcare coming, we beat the virus already, EOs that either do absolutely nothing, or repeat existing law like the mandatory 10 years for damaging govt property, confederate hero garden, numerous committees that were supposed to do one thing or another, trying to ban racial sensitivity training, list continues.

It is to a degree and I agree with you about trump. It was big that a guy like Trump get elected in the first place, it’s just a shame that Trump was the guy and not someone who would have been good at the job or taken it the least bit seriously.
I agree with you 1100% on that last bit. I say this as someone who was on Obamacare and if not for it, I’d never have been able to afford decent health care.
Man I remember when backlash from crazy racists happened after Obama won office, I legit thought we would see some serious assassination attempts. Now it’s 2021 and Trump’s brainwashing tendrils have given so many people brain worms that I fear Biden and his administration are going to be under constant threat until things cool down (if they ever do).

Pardoning the Capitol rioters makes Trump look culpable, which isn’t a good look for him at all. However, anything is possible with that dumb fuck so who knows.

So yesterday was supposed to be the big protest day, right? Luckily, I’m pretty sure any protests were pretty small if they went off at all. I know the one here started at noon, was pretty much over by 2, and the protesters were outnumbered by the cops.
This Trump train seems to be coming to a stop with all the enthusiasm of a wet fart. Hoping this lack luster turnout continues and that Wednesday goes off without a hitch.
Whatever you wanna think about BLM, at least they had people marching everyday for months. My wife asked me if I thought they didn’t get many people yesterday because it was snowy. If a little bit of snow deters you from marching on the state capitol to protect voting integrity, you’re probably lying to yourself and know the elections were secure and accurate.
