I agree with you and PVL but as DoctaMario has just said, what are the consequences of being labeled a marxist? Virtually none, you won’t get deplatformed, you won’t lose your job, nothing serious is going to happen.
The left controls the agenda thats just how it is.
Trump was accused of being a white supremacist pretty much since he took office, yet he was never deplatformed because of that. Some (KEY WORD: SOME) conservatives are being deplatformed because conservative narrative has become increasingly hostile to the point that it spurred a violent riot at the US Capitol that put top lawmakers and the vice president in harms way. This wasn’t just conservative narrative in general, but narrative built on conspiracy theories and lies pushed by the president himself and his allies. What happened on January 6th was merely the straw that broke the camel’s back.
i need to use that word from now on.
preppy wished ill on pertho’s moms. the caucasity!

Man, you’re not fucking wrong. I’m left leaning when it comes to social issues and I have friends who are pretty radical left, as well as some far right leaning friends too. There’s bullshit on both sides, including my liberal friends taking shit way too far in calling people white supremacists, calling out just being male, all kinds of shit that’s pretty far down into SJWism. And some of the right folks talk about anyone who doesn’t agree with them being fucking communists. Like, wtf people? Stop being so fucking sensational about every goddamn thing. Swear to god social media has ruined a lot of shit in this country.
Well that logic applies to use of Marxism as a disparaging attribute too. Now white supremacist being more damaging in general, I agree with that but that’s because the nature of the generalizations are different. “White supremacist” accuses an overt moral failing while the accusation of “communist” is used to designate someone an outsider with ideas fundamentally incompatible with American values. I do not believe these generalizations were chosen with their broader or long-term efficacy in mind, but is it the fault of leftists that being racist is perceived as being worse than being a radical communist?
I’m glad we agree but I would like to say the “left” doesn’t control the agenda, I think everyone here can agree that corporations and politicians engage in virtue signaling because they believe it’s profitable and like to cover their asses or make what they feel are broad appeals to people to convince them they are moral entities. Money and influence are what dominates the agenda and appealing to the broader sensibilities that liberalism does is simply more profitable.
Let me get this straight: kneeling during the anthem was disrespectful to the flag and Blues Lives Supposedly Matter? But Trumpers beat an officer with an American flag pole until he had a heart attack…i can’t even…
The people that are highlights of the 6th Insurrection are all poor. The Idiot with the bull horns is unemployed, while the other two are low wage blue collar workers.
