CES Video Dump Day 2:

This is the year i retire my 6500 build and get on the current gen of either Intel/AMD. Seriously looking at a Ryzen 3600 build.

Quick edit. I normally hit up https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcsales/ and if you feel frisky https://www.reddit.com/r/hardwareswap/ on used hardware. I have bought from hardwareswap a few times and haven’t let me down yet. Thou stay way buildapcsales becuase it gets risky with the wallet and next thing you know your in upgrade pc mode easy :). I plan to hit them up when tax time hits to build a new rig here soon.

Looking at the CES coverage I’m seriously considering getting the mini version of the O11 dynamic.

upon first glance, it looks like it supports only mATX. If it supports ATX, I’d strongly consider moving from my P350X to it.

According to videos it’s a modular case that supports ATX, mATX and ITX. I’ll definitely dump my current case for it.

I really can’t decide between the O11 Mini and the new Lancool.

New CES Video from Paul’s Hardware just dropped.

I’m having this strange issue:

I’ll start a game off Steam…and the screen will freeze.
I thought the game froze…but I can hear it still going.
It’s like every 4 seconds from loading a game.
It doesn’t happen with every game though…just most I’ve loaded.

I uninstalled/reinstalled the latest AMD drivers…and uninstalled/reinstalled the games/demos affected.
I’m still having this issue.

Did some cleaning out of some old stuff I had and came across an old Corsair Scimitar that I had held on to along with a couple ML120 Pro fans.

Almost immediately I found out why I put it away, I had a double-click issue with it. Probably gonna throw it along with my Rival 600 up on eBay as-is and put the proceeds towards a new mouse.

Careful I still had people ask for and gotten refunds from eBay with this. I would Disclose everything wrong in the seller page.

Half life series free to play until the Alyx game arrives…

After the PC launches of RDR2 and Iceborne, I feel like my i5-65K and Radeon RX 480 aren’t cutting it!!

I’m looking to switch to AMD processor and maybe scoop up a new GPU?

Basically, I want to be ready to handle and run DOOM ETERNAL when it comes out!

the 2016 Doom can run with very modest hardware. But you aren’t getting all those juicy details of the landscape and steady 60 fps with the min reqs

I can run 2016 with no issues, its the sequel coming out in 2 months that’s get me worried!!

To run Doom Eternal even on low graphics settings your PC will require at least a 2GB GeForce GTX 670 / Radeon HD 7870 with a Core i5-2400 3.1GHz or FX-8320 CPU. This will return an average of 30 frames per second. Minimum RAM requirements are 8 GB system memory.

You can run Doom Eternal
