Sunday is fine with me Ben. I have 3S on ps2 and pc but no sticks. If you can cop some then I can teach you everything you need to know about 3S. I’m writing up a blog right now that should be ready in a couple of weeks going really in depth with zoning, footsies, parry baiting, option selects and other fighting game concepts, but specifically tailored to 3S. I want to show people the slightly different implementations of traditional concepts and how they apply to the 3S system versus other street fighters like SF2,4

Just a heads up for people who want to play more dead games with me.
My brother finally popped that MC Cthulu board I bought some months back into his modded SE (full Sanwa stick and buttons, same exact parts as the TEs) and it seems to have gone off without a hitch. So as of now, as long as one other person can consistently bring a PS2 stick (Rico…looking at you, buddy), there should be 2 decent-quality PS2 sticks for anyone who wants to throw down whenever I bring my PS2 through.
If anyone has something they’d like me to bring as part of my PS2 collection, here’s what I already have:

Lil Update on AFO Tourney.
Well as usual COn tourneys make a mockery of the fighting game scene or at least in my opinion.
Buck himself isn’t even sure on a set time for the pre finals tourney as he told me it’ll start around 10-11. And this is the rest of the schedule The Tournaments will be earlier in the day, around 10 or 11am in the Stink room errr Game room Arcade.
Finals (top 8) for BlazBlue: CS Start at 5pm, SSFIV starts at 6:30. Then a Meet and Play SSFIV with Rueben Langdon (Ken Masters) Immediately after Street fighter at about 7:30ish.
So I guess I’ll try and find out Friday or something if I can get there.
In Other news EXP COn is shaping up to be really awesome and will set the standard for what a Gaming event at an Anime Con should be about.
In Short, Ryan is basically giving me and Tyger the 7500 sq ft game room all weekend to do whatever we want with it and run the show for gaming. We’re working on all the details, but it could be a trip worth making.
If you want just the game room all weekend it’s a 20 buck door fee, or you could pay just 30 bucks in advance for a whole weekend pass to the entire con which has a lot of great guests and such. I’ll have the thread up next week, definitely consider it as this could be really great. JT and I will also be live streaming it.
If you can help me out, i got a ps3 te fighstick needing modding for x360…can you do that? what do i need? Thanks!
