oh, I’ve been around since early-mid 2001, double impact days. Was introduced to SRK by a freind in high school. been here ever since. not signing up until 2002. I;m not very well known or posted up much. But I do remember alot of shit that went down here.

I lurked for the better half of '03, and finally made an account in '04. SRK was damn entertaining back then, which is why I joined up. I have to say though, that the '04 members are the best group out of the new guys. ('03-'07)
And its always good to see the guys that have been here from the beginning keep sticking around. :tup:
I liked the old SRK with the avatars in the signatures too. I remember I had dial-up and some people had really graphic intensive avatars. It would take me five minutes to load a page.

You definitely need to bring back the Zeon avatar back. I think it was the only thing missing in my life on SRK for the time that you were gone. And if you read my earlier posts, I was actually gone and almost retired from SRK due to the lack of the old members. But, I have the spirit to continue the good fight.
BTW, since the last time you posted I REALLY got into Gundam Fix Figurations. Huge fucking collection of Gundam stuff now. The Kampfer is still my favorite Zeon mobile suit ever.

I’ve been here since sometime in 2001 and registered in 2k2, was barely into fighting games but always enjoy them, but after the first couple months, I’ve went to GD and that was it. I barely post if at all (once a month tops generally), so my perspective is from the outside looking in, and this place has always been one of the funniest, diverse, and informative places I’ve been to online, ever.

god I love this place. I really regret not posting more in GD in the old days, but I was too busy with “getting better at SF” and “running tournaments” and stuff.
I was thinking about this last night, that I’ve been on this site so long that I’ve known my e-friends longer than most of my irl friends.
Here’s to hoping that this place will be still going strong after another 6 and a half years :lovin:
