What happend to the rest of those clowns at f.net?

The old days were good, but modern day is not horrible. I’m sure it’s awesome for the people who are here now. It’s just that shit like the old pages of flames and trolls from other sites don’t really make people jump like they used to.

Someone needs to make a SRKGD timeline accounting the past historic events/members so the modern day SRK members can look back and figure out what heppend even though they weren’t there. Kind of like carbon dating having a SRK archeological (sp?) dig.

2001 member boom/Mvc2 Craze/SNK vs Cap war
2002 events
F.net death
MummyB death
Site crash/extinction
mass exodus/loss of many members (like will gotti, strongrrr, achan, zero, etc).
Gaia wars
Modern day SRK GD.

A loose timeline but if a few members get togeather I’m sure we’d get a proper one with most of the funny and important events noted.

I remember wen the freestyle thread had folks really stylin on each other all the time, mini-tournaments and shit - hell I even started an archived website for the battles, I think its still floating around on geocities… http://www.geocities.com/srkbattle or something like that. good shit.

You definitely need to bring back the Zeon avatar back. I think it was the only thing missing in my life on SRK for the time that you were gone. And if you read my earlier posts, I was actually gone and almost retired from SRK due to the lack of the old members. But, I have the spirit to continue the good fight.

BTW, since the last time you posted I REALLY got into Gundam Fix Figurations. Huge fucking collection of Gundam stuff now. The Kampfer is still my favorite Zeon mobile suit ever.

Also, do you have MAME32k for some Kaillera matches?

I am just setting myself back up from being gone for a while, so I WILL have MAME32K in a little while. So soon…muhahaha!!!

And the Kampfer IS the coolest suit Zeon ever made IMO…though I do like the Gelgoog Marine too! :wgrin:

And since you missed out on a lot, I’ll just let you know to avoid the Zeta movies. They retconned ALL of Mobile Suit Gundam. I think to the point where Char’s Counterattack DOESN’T happen. Which I hate. Although, the new animation is pretty dope(in certain scenes). Just thought I’d drop that bit of info on ya.

Hmmm…I still don’t have ST on my computer. Might have to get that tonight.

So, other than Iraq, what have you been upto? Anything interesting? Like, I dunno, finding 5 bucks on a sidewalk? =p
