Converting analog signal to digital signal is “processing”.
I’ve just ordered a joystick, street fighter 4 joystick , compatible with ps3/xbox/PC. (Which is what i bought it for, PC)
its cheap, only $50US, but it got good reviews so it should be good value.
I’ve never owned a GFWL game so I was wondering, since I’ve been told both ways by others, can you buy a GFWL game and that will allow you to play online on a different GFWL game?
So, basically use the key with one game and apply it to another GFWL-capable game?
Any of you done this before?
I was told you can use any key on any GFWL game for any other GFWL game, but wanted to get some confirmation from you experts.
Thanks!

No, that’s not how software works.
I don’t see why people are so tight when it comes to spending $12 for the dlc. To me it’s funny.
That shit is illegal. You better delete your post.
What stick are you speaking of? I’m looking for a PC stick as well.
Well, the assets are on the disc and everything, but I think I understand what you mean. For example, shareware supposedly is released with all the assets included, but you have to pay and register for the full version.
But still, I think there is somewhat of an complicit agreement when you acquire a piece of shareware. When you get a piece of shareware you know that this isn’t the complete version. Moreover you don’t pay for a piece of shareware, then have to pay for more features.
Then again, if you bought SFIV PC you knew that the extra costumes were pay only, so I guess there really isn’t an excuse.
But I’m not saying way of thinking or the other is correct, as I can see where both sides are coming from. I’m not buying it for a complete different reason - I just think “cosmetic DLC” like this in general is a rather slippery slope…
…that and the fact that the DLC costumes are ass-ugly.
Seriously, why would I pay to have Bison look like he just got beat the fuck up?
Sakura gym suit on the other hand…
1-How is GFWL compared to xbox live?
2-Is the online good?
3-If I used a cheat to unlock everything, will I get banned from GFWL?
I’ve heard that this is possible, some people apparently used keys from The Club, which is only $10, to use w/ GFWL. I obviously haven’t tried this myself, but the word on the street is that GFWL does seem to draw from one pool of CD keys…
ah ok, thanks Miker
I’m having this problem where my settings aren’t saved every time I play the game in fullscreen. Has anyone else had this problem?
Additionally, does anyone know where the game’s settings cfg file is? I’m thinking that if I set it through there and set it to read-only, it’ll be fine.
Not really understanding your question, GFWL is free, and as long as you own the game you can play it on GFWL.
edit: hrmm not sure how I didn’t follow before, but tit wouldn’t make a lot of sense to pull from the same pool of CDKEYs, I haven’t tested it, b ut that’s kind of crazy if its true.
The Club is only 4 dollars (plus shipping) on amazon BUT Sega made an error and didn’t ship The Club with a product key in probably most of the shipment of The Club. You’ll have to contact Sega support to get one, fair warning.
Anyone up for some matches?
Unless you already have a GFWL game I wouldn’t suggest “cheating” and buying the cheapest game since it won’t be possible to play this way as soon as GFWL next version is released.
Nobody is answering me!
Try reading the thread next time.
- Same old thing, just PC. Easier to type maybe?
- Less competition than XBL. Same netcode.
- No, they can’t track it (characters, colours, etc.). I’ve been doing it since the game came out. If you mean DLC, then yes (maybe?), you might get banned if they notice you are using them without getting them legally.
I wouldn’t bother with the PC version until they release a patch that sets everyone to “fixed” framerate, it’s absolutely unplayable online right now
I keep getting limited to 20ish FPS on my monstrously powerful computer because people didn’t set their framerate option (and there’s no official notice from capcom anywhere that makes it obvious that they should)
