Does Capcom plan on patching this game/ releasing the DLC they released for the consoles?
I don’t like how you can use the changed moves chars online. I accidentally picked cammy while I had her changed to Ryu and ended up making my opponent quit.

The championship mode and replays are already in the game since release while alternative costumes can now be unlocked at the GFWL marketplace.
Im running the Steam version of SF4 and I can’t seem to challenge anybody on my friends list. Theres a tab on the homescreen for player profiles that says INVITE TO GAME (right above INVITE TO CHAT), but its “grayed out”. Seem like the function has been disabled. I can play games against strangers and my friends are able to challenge me but not having this feature irks me. Does anybody have this specific problem?
did you open a game first before you invited a friend?

Anyone have this problem when I play even in arcade mode the game freezes then drops, no drop in frame rate or anything just sends me back to windows. SFIV is the only game I have that does this. My comp specs should be more than adequate 8800 GT, AMD 6000+, and 4 gigs ram, latest drivers i cant figure out why the game keeps dropping I notice my DVD drive has a hard time reading the disk it gives me an error message “please insert SF4 disc” even though its loaded could that have something to do with the drop problem? any one having this problem or know what might be causing it?
obvious? maybe. but can i not change any video settings on the game to atleast work? or is this a 40dlr paper weight cd now lol.
What’re your computer specs (CPU, RAM and video card specifically)?
Are you running in full-screen or windowed mode? (Can you switch to the other and test that as well?)
my specs aint the best but i thought it’d atleast run. i playa buncha other computer games without a hitch. WoW/cs-source/guild wars/L4D
cpu is a amd turioun 2.4ghz, 1gb mem, and 128mb ati radeon xpress200m. i know it doesn’t meet the “minimum requirements” but is it really gonna not work even crappy?
i’m afraid that even if it did run, it would be ugly as all hell, and still fairly unplayable. besides, I don’t your radeon even has pixel shader 3.0. sorry 
i think thats why it isn’t running. damnit. i just tried it again and at the blank black screen i guessed and was able to navigate to the arcade mode n select blanka. then i saw his story line video, then when it went to fight i couldn’t see anymore. but i could hear blanka in the backround and i could do moves but just not see anything.

Can you get the video settings to 640x480 windowed, all settings on minimum to see if you can get video out of it?
do i change my computer settings to 640x480 or sf4? how do i change video settings in sf4 manually or even in general? i jus get a black screen lol
to manually change it, go to c:\users\username\appdata\local\capcom\streetfighteriv\config.ini (appdata is a hidden folder). Just edit the resolution line in notepad to what you want.
Either way your video card just isn’t supported. I am very surprised you can play some of the other games you listed.
Nah, none of them are very demanding. L4D maybe, but the Source engine is effecient and scaleable. And old.
Speaking of running things that shouldn’t work, hell, I could run BF1942 with everything on absolute lowest at a decent fps on an old 300Mhz Pentium 2 lol.
But SF4 is another beast. Heavy use of shaders and on top of that a console port. It takes a decent computer.
i give up. ill stick to xbox.
