Last time i checked there were something like 2000 players that qulified for G2(+2000 GP) in Championship mode. That was a week ago.
I can find people to play with at every time of the day.
Anyway, this might sound dumb, but where is the option to turn the music / sound / voice off, for good. I know there are some sliders in the Options Menu, but they don’t actually work, they don’t turn the sound off, they just make it really silent but you can still hear them.
You can’t. It’s a bug.
I really wish they’d fix the bug that drops you to 30 odd fps in the arcade menu and doing your first match.

i start the game, i see the capcom logo, the whole intro video, then its to the STREET FIGHTER FOURRRRR part and i just see a black screen…

Has anyone found out if there’s anyway to change the audio settings? I got around to installing it on the HTPC, which is in turn setup on a surround sound system, and found out there were more than 2 channels of audio. I was hearing game sounds that I’ve never heard before when setup on 2ch audio. I searched settings but couldn’t find anything to do with audio other than the volume levels.
does anyone know how to stop the button display from cycling between controller buttons and keyboard keys…? for example, on the main selection screen after you press start, at the bottom of the screen there “A Next B Back” and it keeps cycling between the keyboard keys and button graphics…
i don’t use the keyboard and it’s not so much of a problem with A and B but it’s annoying every time i see “CTRL”…

How the hell do you unlock the alternate costumes?
I have download the unlocker, but it does not work. I have everything unlocked apart from the alt costumes. I follow the read me, press 7 in the characters select screen, i hear a bing, but the alt costumes do no appear.
What gives?
select your character, then press 7 on the num pad. You gotta wiggle it around left or right before it changes completely.
So there is no way to select between the normal and alt costumes, its either one or the other?

I’m running an online tournament for the pc on 7/30 its in the computer match making section. if you got nothing better to do sign up for it 
The alternate costume tool is a toggle. On your keypad, you press 7 twice to toggle customes for Player 1 and 4 twice for Player 2. To turn off alternate costumes, just tap the corresponding key twice again.
If toggled on, you have to cycle through the colors for it to make the switch. This means that if you want to be battle-damaged Ryu in white, you have to toggle it on (press 7 twice) then move off the first color, either left or right, and then back on.
That’s your video card screaming “I suck”
