Haha. Well, I only use the unregistered shareware-version. It works without limitations.
I bought a hard copy DVD version of the game, but I noticed that Steam is selling a downloadable version of SF4. Is there any way to register my copy of SF4 through Steam? I tried entering in my keycode but they didn’t recognize it.
We’ve set up a thread especially for music editing - it includes the tutorial and some other useful info as well.
I’ve also posted some SSF2 stage music in the thread,
A 8800GT is way better than a 9400. Just because it is in a generation higher (9xxx) doesn’t mean its any better. Also, he is still on Pentium, so thats pretty old.
You right, you right. I never compared that 9400 to my 8800, I always thought it was better.
Actually the 9400GT is a horrible card, and his system isn’t way more than enough for SFIV, it’ll still struggle to run the game. He has a Pentium which is really old.
Press Home (Or wahtever activates your windows live tab) > Settings > Voice > Mute Microphone.
Voila
Just picked the game up on PC in order to play with some of 360-less friends. Haven’t tried any of the filters yet, but I’m mad that it seems you have to re-buy the alternate costumes…I’m giving those a miss.
What’s the competition like in the various online modes? I’m assuming it’s not as varied (heh) as on 360 given the game hasn’t been out on PC long…
Yep, this. A 9400GT isn’t a gamer’s card at all–it’s low-end. Even the 9500GT is noticeably better, but still nowhere near as good as an 8800GT.
Low/med settings is all you’ll get out of that 9400GT & that CPU.
There’s a lot of pretty good players but you’re right. It’s mostly really bad shotos atm. At least in ranked mode… haven’t tried championship yet, not until I get my new sticks.
Awesome. Thanks.
Yeah, definitely the drivers. It runs great on my laptop too.
I downloaded sf4 (1.7gig version with videos downgraded) to see if my laptop can run it and it does and now I want to buy it so I can play in live. I want to know if the cd key from steam or the retail version would work for the sf4 i downloaded because I don’t want to redownload sf4 again or get SecuROM installed in to my laptop.
So has anyone come across the Brand New - exclusive to the PC - ultimate strategy yet? It’s pretty funny because it lets you know who is using a keyboard.
Recently i’ve been facing people that just hold up+back and when they get far enough, they do one fireball or tatsu and continue holding up+back. once they reach the corner they will try and escape to the other side then repeat. I wondered, what in the world these idiots are doing, then it came to me… they are using a keyboard. For some reason it just pisses me off seeing that even when i win.
anyone want to play right now?
I’ll be ready to play in about 10 mins
Also… anyone else add me as well if you want to play… G1 is even more lonely. O_O
okay. my gt is kebbbbb
I bought the game yesterday, and it runs pretty darn well. Online matchmaking actually works just fine for me. I usually just create a match and I get a game going very easily.
Online play is VERY addicting.
My gamertag is quado0119 if anyone wants to play!
I’m seriously sick to the stomach at the number of shoto players, and almost all of them play the exact same way.
Anyway, I’m just grinding my way through championship mode with my scrubby Abel, tag is calvinL1.
Well… I picked up sfiv for the first time when it released for PC, and I’ve racked up 34 win and 26 win streaks in ranked mode. I’d say I win about 90% of ranked matches.
In contrast, I haven’t won a single g2 tournament. Lot of really good players there. I win maybe 40% in g2.
So there’s a big difference between quality of play in ranked and championship; kind of a mix in player matches.
has anybody having issue running anti aliasing C16xQ?
I can run C16xAA with 2560X1600 res and everything works fine… but when I set it to C16xQ I get a black screen.
