so i would assume the pc community is very small at the moment?
Championship mode was great fun at first and itās still terrific to play a bunch of different players in a competitive setting for championship points and higher grades.
But there are too many boring players or players from far away. I was playing player matches because I had enough of that. The great thing about it is that even if the other player sucks then you can handicap yourself and make it fun for both players.
yeah all i seem to see when i do a search are 1 bar conns, or someone ive played 20 times already.
please capcom, patch the damned game and unlock xbox360 crossplay while youre at it, or expect the pc community to be complete garbage within months
best to find a couple good ones, for casuals. thats all i pretty much do haha
Someone please tell me exactly how I can view replays⦠( embarrassed )
you can goto leader boards, and scroll through them. if you hit the left bumper twice it should land you in replays. use trigger buttons to filter the list.
Arenāt you able to save those downloaded replays as well? When I get the urge to see what folksāre up to, I see that option, but Iām not sure how well it works (read: āHavenāt tried it yetā).
Been just playing with some friends in player matches and sitting in training mode trying to improve before I step into g2 again, the level of play overall is diff from g1 ehhee.
GFWL > Leaderboards > there is a category for replays
Also, I think itās in Gallery for the ones that you have saved to your HDD.
I just asked the same thing. This is the first game i bought in years. No idea how live works. GGPO was all I needed so Live is new to me.
Oh shit its my boy Jodo! lol
Yup, Iām around.
guys one thing iāve noticed when doing sesarches on the PC version is that a lot of the connections will come up in the search result as 2 bar.
however when i click on them and enter their room, they are all of a sudden 4 bar in there.
this happens like 90% of the time I see 2 bar matches.
so those of you saying you are seeing bad connections, try giving those rooms a chance. the connections seem to be better thn first shown.
This is true. One of the major drawbacks with the PC version is the inconsistent display of connection quality between you and other players.
Most of the time when you find a 3 bar connection it usually is a 2 bar or 1 connection. This also happens with 4 and 5 bar connections.
You can see this when you enter a room wait for a few seconds and you will notice the bar go down or go up. Itās really annoying to enter a 3 connection bar room only find out that it was really 1 bar. This happens with REQUEST or just by doing searches on your own.
Thinking of giving SF4 another go. I got a question. Does the PC version of SF4 have better netcoding then console version?
I think so. The only new issues you face are people who have FPS lag because their PC sucks. I definitely think the net code is much better though.
i thought iāll be rid of massive shoto opponents once i got to g2⦠turns out thats not the case. had 5 ryu in a row followed by kens and akumas. when i do get non shotos, its a hard match because i rarely get to fight non shotos
Hmm I have a ps3 TE stick that I only use on my computer. As of this morning the Joystick stopped working. I unplugged and replugged it in and it worked again the first time but now I canāt get it to workā¦The buttons work fine though. Anyone have any insight or experience with this?
Anyone know the best sticks I can get / from where?
