Man online sucks, everybody is just desperate for battle points. You gotta have patience in this game.
It’s a test to see who turtles better online. It lags so bad sometimes as well. I’m done playing for BP. Championship is about the same as well, still on G3 hopefully it’ll get better in G2 and G1.
I kind of have fun seeing how many people I can make rage quit by doing the Tortilla throw over and over.

Usually PC games will get patched.
Do you think capcom will patch SF4 and balance chars? I know it will be a different game than arcade then but I would like the chars be closer to each other in tiers.

Eh, PC won’t see a patch unless the console versions do. I would expect any “patch” will probably just be an expansion via DLC at best or more than likely a new version of the game.

If the PC version varied from console/arcade in balance or game mechanics, it would be useless.
And the characters are balanced enough, it’s not that bad. And unless you’re at a high level of play, the tierlist doesn’t really apply anyway.
Just wait for the second version of SFIV.
The only thing that will be patched for the PC version exclusively will be the GFWL hack holes.
When will we be able to use the alternate costumes? I read we got them already but we can’t choose them yet. Quite silly.
I use the above officially, and legally. I read over my terms of use and i give it the legal thumbs up, or more realistically i know there’s nothing capcom can do about it nor do they really care about it, besides they’ve probably got the most amount of cash they could form the console dlc already, pc users aren’t gonna pay for that stuff (i hope).
If I used the unlocks everything cheat, would I get banned in WGFL?
Well, they should be able to find out who has the dlc costumes, and since there is no way people should have it yet they could ban them I guess?
They probably won’t do. But I won’t risk it for a second costume.
They could ban your key i guess, but thats very unlikely, if that was the case though why not ban everyone who used private modded skins, it’s just not gonna happen. What they would be more likely to do (but still unlikely) is to patch the game to force $ for alt costumes.
As far as I know, other players can’t see private modded skins (I highly doubt SF sends the textures between players… That would be crazy). It’s completely local. So what does Capcom care about that? Besides, since it’s local there’s no way they can know anyway.

As for being banned for using the alt costumes… While I haven’t actually checked, I assume that Mediafire link is merely the alt costumes re-packaged into the original costumes’ files. In which case, they’re no different to these reskins which have been surfacing recently - at least as far as the game knows. The only difference to us is that the alt costume skin has been ripped and used as a “custom skin”, rather than making a new one. Seeing as the game doesn’t seem to care what skin you’re using anyway, I highly doubt it’s even aware if you’re using the alt costume or not.
Of course I could be wrong, maybe they have implemented some kind of sneaky check, but I doubt it.

The link has a trainer that acts as a on/off switch for alternate costumes. (It tells the game to use the alternate costume file instead of the regular one.)
