I use the above officially, and legally. I read over my terms of use and i give it the legal thumbs up, or more realistically i know there’s nothing capcom can do about it nor do they really care about it, besides they’ve probably got the most amount of cash they could form the console dlc already, pc users aren’t gonna pay for that stuff (i hope).

I didn’t really see anywhere I could post this other than in the PC thread. If it souldnt be here, I’m sorry.

I haven’t seen any one with this issue yet. None of the cut scenes in seem to work right. The audio is fine however the image starts very late and it stutters and pixely. The game runs fantastic otherwise.

I have an older system. Hardware is a DFI lanparty nf4 sli-dr motherboard running a AMD Athalon 64 (single core over clocked to 2.562ghx) 2GB of Gskill ram (2.5-3-3-6 timings) and a EVGA 8800GT akimbo. The only issue I have is with the cut scenes playing.

Any suggestions?

They’re definitely different in terms of player populations. I’m sure it will change over time, but G2 is (at least in my experience) pretty much shoto-free right now. Lots of charge characters.

G2 also has a lot of scrubs.

I assume you can get it working with Boot Camp but I really don’t want to install windows on my machine.

It works under boot camp. You’d need one hell of a beast for it to run over Parallels!

why dont you just do custom instead of quick match for rank matchups. set it to same skill level or higher for the search and everyone that i’ve played so far with that setting were between 1000-2000bp. i only have 1500 bp atm.

anyways, i hate players who think they have the best computers and set everything on high graphic setting, and not realize that the games actually runniing half the speed, because the reality is their computers suck, and it burdens other players online with this slow mo crap. i played several matches where the game was literally going 1/4 of the actual speed. not much lag but the speed was excruciating. my computers 4 years old but runs full speed. why didn’t capcom just have “fixed” framerate as default or just set it to “fixed” for online plays. :S

I had everything at max at the beginning and had 49 FPS’ish which i considered good . I was actually surprised that my pc could run this game at max everything @ 45 Fps.

It’s felt slow but eh i was getting 45 frigging FPS.So i though it’s was the game speed.

Fighting game are the only type that if you don’t play it at the arcade setting (60-65 FPS) the speed and the gameplay will be halved.

Hopefully now that you’ve read this thread you realise that the important thing is to set the framerate to ‘FIXED’ in the PC options menu.

Is it possible to always connect via Windows Live with a specific sparring partner in Street Fighter IV. In my case, I would just prefer to sparr with an old buddy who lives abroad. I want to know if I can specifically select him as my SF IV opponent.

Please answer only if you tested and experienced it for yourself.

Create a Player Match, set Private Slots to “Yes” or “1” or whatever it is, then invite him through the GFWL interface.

I hope there is a patch. So we can dash cancel by tapping the direction once. It was a mistake from the beginning but it’s not too late, as long as we’re still focusing on SFIV and not a new game.

Just go into windows live battle > select player match > create player match > set private slots to ‘ON’ > then you can send him an invite.

The easiest way to send an invite is to just open your GFWL friends list and the top button will be ‘invite to game’.
