Yeah, hehe. This connection has a router/something that I don’t have access too, which blocks ports, is what I meant I guess.
I live in Sweden too, I don’t really notice much difference between 3-5 bars… But then again, I havn’t been paying much attention too it either. But I have only played for like a week, so I may not be too picky yet.
No,i mean something less heavy on the internet connection. I mean “chat” like the oldschool chat with text, lol. Messaging back and forth over GFWL is a bit lame.
How about Steam? I bought it over steam and i always use the chat there when i play with my friends.
Other than that something like ICQ or something comes into my mind, but then again, you can only use these chat options with your friends and not with random people.
Posted this in tech talk, but figured I’d try here to:
Okay… I’m a computer hardware noob, and SF4 is running like butt on my laptop. Setup is:
OS: Windows Vista
CPU: AMD Turion X2 @ 2.2GHz
RAM: 3GB
HDD: Way above 10GB available
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8200M
… FPS is all over the place, hitting 60 and then jumping up and down as low as 30’ish, and I’ve tried even playing on the lowest settings possible with no improvement. Anyone got any tips on what settings to play around with on my laptop, or is my setup just not adequate enough for the game? Thanks in advance…
any new info about the replay system? Like how to save replays locally w/o to depend on ranking points or whatever is needed to record replays. Im really missing the option to save replays from my matchs.
More Chinese people are starting to buy the game, so my connection is getting better. Plus I can actually communicate with them, unlike all the Russians, heh.
I actually recognized someone I played in a Championship today because of their play style. We’ve played at a local arcade before, so that was pretty rad.
The input lag is still a bitch though. A quarter of a second input lag + ambiguous cross up = goodnight.
