every time the game saves something in my account (like when you finish the arcade mode and you unlock a new char or a ending movies and such things), it bugs something into live, and i get the “online gaming isnt avaliable to your profile” when i try to get into the Live to play online. I need to logoff and relog in in order to have access to the live again. Thats very annoying, mainly when ure playing arcade mode while awaits a new online challenger. When the arcade mode ends, you will have to relog in order to get the online stuffs working again. Suggestions?
What is my problem?
Last night I logged and played on GFWL perfectly no problem and today when i sign in again and load up the game it always goes “You Must Sign In to Save Your Progress. You will be unable to save your progress unless signed in” Yes No and I am already signed in and when i press Yes it just keeps giving me the same message over and over??? I cant seem to play online no more after once?

try playing without v-sync on and lower resolution. also if you are going to be playing online, keep your frame rate set to fixed.
This…kind of IS a tech support thread. There would be no point in having this thread if it wasn’t tech related in some way. SF4 PC is the same as SF4 console.
Edit: The only reason it’s not in the “Tech forum” is because not everyone in there plays SF4.

I’m completely addicted to online in this game now.
232 matches so far. But I kinda suck, so just 33% win rate with Sak. Still stuck in lowest Championship tier. Getting better, but still a long, long way to go…
I’ve so far had only one person disconnect on me, and two people message me after the fight but it was all nice messages.
Anyone whose a bit more owning got any of those fun hate mails with PC ver yet?
Also, some people have mics but I can seriously not make out what anyone says. The audio quality is seriously bad, not that I care.
yea im semi addicted too, been playing alot, i havent gotten a hate mail but i have sent out couple nice ones. as expected kens and ryus everywhere and ive actually ran into quite a few sakura’s lol

I love the PC version cause I can link scrubs the Ken Flowchart much easier then on XBL.
Yeah, hordes of Ryu and Ken. Decent number of Sagats and Akumas.
I’ve only met like three or four other Sakuras I think, but still she’s not as rare as say… Rufus, Honda or Vega.

true i have ran into quite a few akuma’s. I played 1 honda that destroyed me and have yet to play a guile. and only ran into 2 other chun-li’s besides myself
Out of 120 matches, I had one person DC on the loading screen. I picked Gief and he picked Akuma–odd.
I wouldn’t say I’m owning (only about a 70% winrate, and I’m sure some better players here are 90%+), but I’ve beaten a lot of flowchart shotos, Sagats and Cammys with little more than blocking and crouching lariats. And I haven’t received any hate mail yet. Have received some positive mail from some of the people I’ve played against using more diverse tactics. Also, when I’ve played somebody a few times–which seems to happen more often here than it did on PSN; often my next match after a G3 championship was the same person I just fought–and I keep beating them in a scrubby way, I’ll mail them to give them some suggestions on how they can hand me my ass when I play like that. The responses I’ve received have all been very polite and appreciative.
The only thing that really annoys me–aside from the whole Capcom-did-nothing-to-improve-this-when-porting-it issue–is the framerate lag. On the PS3, when there was lag due to latency, the connection tended to self-terminate. When there’s hardware lag on the PC due to someone playing the game with the framerate unfixed, you just have to suffer through the match crawling along at 4fps. So while the lag is generally less of an issue than it is on the PS3, when it is an issue, it’s unplayable.
Competition is also pretty lousy right now, even in G2. That said, I’ve come across a few people who have consistently destroyed me, who happened to be playing Cammy and Sakura.
